༺☆༻
It was the day after the sully family had arrived, Mä'reyna had woken up especially early in order to begin training. As she dragged her friend Ateyo.
"Pleaseee i beg i cannot bear this alone!" she pleaded grabbing Ateyos hand attempting to pull him through the village.
"FINE! but only if you do my dutys for the next 3 days" he spoke smugly.
"fine" Mä'reyna rolled her eyes still pulling him down to the training grounds.
When they eventually arrived they were greeted by only the two brothers. Apparently the sisters where not old enough to ride ikran.
"We already know how to ride, we do not neet to relearn" said the younger brother as he rolles his eyes.
"Actually you do, your ikran are foreign, the ikran from the island will attempt to kill them if you are seen hunting on them" Ateyo explained.
"Do not roll your eyes we dont want to be here either." Mä'reyna spoke firmly looking the boy up and down.
Suddenly the eldest spoke up, "I apologise for my brother, we are just tired of moving. please help us ride your ikran."
"apology accepted." Mä'reyna gave a small smile to the eldest brother before the four walked through the forest.
"we must get to the ikran before we can ride, this is very tricky i do not know if you will be able to do it." she said as the group ran together, "the kekunan clan has evolved over centurys to be able to complete this tast, if you should succeed it will prove your strength."
"reyna was 12 when she completed this, my very skilled best friend" spoke Ateyo said sheepishly patting Mä'reyna on the back obviously embarrassing her.
"wow i couldnt even ride an ikran until last year " the eldest brother laughed softly as both reyna and ateyo smiled at him.
It appeared that the younger brother still wasn't talking.
"i feel we have not properly been introduced," ateyo spoke causing the group to come to a stop, " i am ateyo, warrior for the clan. This is my mighty best friend Mä'rayna, furture Tsahìk for our people" as the boy spoke he playfully pulled reynas tail causing her to jokingly hiss at him.
"stop it you skxawng!" she folded her arms.
"what are your names?" the boy said laughing through his words.
"neyteyam" the older boy smiled.
The group awkwardly waited a minute for lo'ak to answer but he stared at the ground.
"Bro come on your making us look bad" neyteyam spoke as he softly pushed his brothers arm.
"Lo'ak" he said still staring at the ground.
The group continued walking, suddenly coming to a halt as Mä'reyna and ateyos ears flattend, grabbing their bows from their backs.
"what is it?" lo'ak spoke up, more words than he'd said the entire day he had been on the island.
"shh" whispered reyna scanning the area they were in.
Quickly, a tall boy stepped out of the bushes, reyna held her bow steady dispite ateyo lowering his.
"what do you want?" she hissed as the boy raised his hands in surrender.
"what? am i not allowed to check up on the future tsahìk?" the boy looked down at her with a smug smile on his face.
" i do not need your protection zeekell" she spoke lowering her bow.
After a few small introductions between zeekell and the newcomers reyna quickly become frustrated.
"leave now we must take them to ikran" she said before slinging her bow back behind her and marching away, the group followed her leaving zeekell all alone.
Eventually the group was by the foot of a volcano, lo'ak still had barely spoken to anyone however he was begging to come around.
The group climed over various cliff edges, vines and other sorts of plants before reaching where the ikran rest.
"well done we have completed the journey." ateyo spoke happily as the group looked over the island. To the two forest boys surprise, reyna and ateyo began walking back the way they came.
"what? where are you going?" lo'ak spoke watching Mä'reyna.
"we have completed the journey, we must return to the clan now." reyna spoke as if it was plain obvious.
"i thought we were supposed to ride ikran?" neyteyam asked.
"the first step to riding ikran is accepting the journey to get to them" ateyo explained
"whats the point in that?" lo'ak said in annoyance.
"you have to be able to respect the task of getting to ikran so you can understand the respect you must gain to ride" reyna said.
"bro so we just walked this way for nothing" lo'ak said once again in annoyance
"stop being like a baby" reyna rolled her eyes, "you must stop being ignorant!"
lo'ak began arguing with the girl but was stopped by neyteyam giving him the "just shut up" look.
The group headed back to the village, mä'reyna ignoring lo'ak the whole time however making conversation with the other two.
