As the girl sat laughing in the middle of her home tree, even though kiris jokes were increase stupid they still managed to make reyna crack up.
"kiri stop that didnt even make sense" spoke reyna through her laughter pushing the other girls arm playfully.
"oh! i forgot i made you something!" kiri said excitedly, "please come with me" kiri stood up reaching out a hand to the other girl, pulling her up and leading her to her hut.
"kiri slow down you're making my heart hurt" the older girl said as she giggled.
Once the girls had arrived at the hut, kiri ran to one of the basket where she kept her belongings as mä'reyna stood awkwardly in the doorway not knowing what she was supposed to do.After about 5 minutes kiri had pulled two matching necklaces out of her basket.
"this one is for you" kiri said as she handed the girl a necklace with woven in beads and types of crystals. The other girl thanked kiri smiling widley as she moved her hair to the other side of her shoulder to place the necklace on. After a few seconds both girls were wearing their necklaces and were now sat just outside of the hut still laughing with eachother.
Soon enough zeekell and ateyo walked over greeting the girls.
"ah you finally gave her the necklace" zeekell remarked sarcastically cheering kiri.
"it is beautiful isnt it" reyna spoke softly showing both boys her necklace
"i think our kiri here has a skill" ateyo spoke placing his hands on kiris shoulder, "perhaps i can request you make me a new head peice for when i fly?"
"me too me too" zeekell chimed in. Although when the newcomers had first met zeekell they assumed he was an ignorant dick, he seemingly came around and now was part of the friend group despite being busy with hunting more often than not. The four of them sat there untill way after eclipse just talking to eachother, after a few moments lo'ak appeared infront of them. Where the hell had he been? Awkwardly mä'reyna stood up saying goodbyes to the group however making a point to ignore lo'aks presence as she walked away.
Staring at the ground as she walked back to her hut the girl played with her necklace, feeling the crystals as she took her steps.
"Hey olo'eyktan" lo'ak shouted from behind her, running to walk at the side of her as she continued to ignore him. He gently pulled on her arm forcing her body to face his.
"go away lo'ak" she said ripping her hand from his grasp
"wait no look, tsreya told me-"
"i do not care what she has told you."
"but-"
"no lo'ak. i told you go away"
"you're not listening."
"no lo'ak you are not listening, what dont you understand about go away" the girl hissed before starting to storm off again but she was qucikly pulled back as lo'ak grabbed the girls waist.
"what happened? you were ready to fall inlove with me yesterday and now you what? cant stand me?" lo'ak said
"i was not falling inlove with you, i was drunk" the girl said pushing him away.
"we both know you're lying mä'reyna" lo'ak claimed before walking away and leaving her utterly shocked alone.
