TIME SKIP- 3 days after mä'reyna and the ofher warriors had left to get the other tribes to join their part in the war.
Lo'ak stood on the training ground with aonung and kiri, they all had bows and today were going to practice. However it was clear lo'ak wasnt as enthusiastic compared to the other two, he didnt want to be here practicing with his sister and friend, he wanted to be with reyna. He didnt doubt she could do this on her own, she was so strong and it was so admireable. But he just wanted to be there, with her.
"come on lo'ak you are not even trying!" one of ateyos older sisters shouted from across the training ground, soon she turned back to the two young girls she was helping.
"aonung how come tsreya doesnt have to do stuff like this?" kiri asked lowering her bow coming to the side of her friend
"she is a teacher, in charge of the children so she doesnt need to fight."
"hm" kiri stood looking at the floor, "hey lo'ak do you think you could talk to reyna about me having the same duties as tsreya?"
"dont know" he said still focused on his bow, "ask her yourself"
"wow thank you my lovely brother you are too nice!!" the girl spoke sarcastically going back to where she was shooting her bow, aonung let out a small laugh
"when do you think she'll be back?" aonung spoke now collecting all the bows from the floor
"dont know" lo'ak spoke still not paying any attention to the pair
"wow you're full of conversation today" kiri spoke up again rolling her eyes at him
"sorry" lo'ak spoke finally lowering his bow turning to talk to the two, " just on edge"
"you're girlfriends gona be fine stop worrying" aonung laughed
"not my girlfriend" lo'ak said rolling his eyes
"but you wish she was" kiri spoke teasing him soon both kiri and aonung were making fake kissy noises to annoy lo'ak.
"you are both children " he laughed before walking away from the training ground.
He walked into his familys hut soon joining his mother infront of the floor to prepare food. His father pacing round the hut to collect any kind of machinery they had.
"Dad you need to calm down, mä'reyna knows what shes doing" he spoke smiling at his dad
"yeah yeah i know" jake spoke still pacing around, " did she tell you whats gona happen when she comes back?"
"nah im guessing there will be some kind of meeting though." lo'ak spoke heavily concentrating on preparing food
"ma jake, you need to take a step back, this girl is very brave,strong and intelligent. She is also olo'eyktan now. You cannot control what happens now" neytiri spoke calmly not even looking up at her mate.
"what if we just leave?" jake said suddenly stopping to look at the two, "we will be safer if we leave"
"leave-" lo'ak questioned angrily
"jake you are being irrational " neytiri rose from the ground now to confront him
"no come on we can fit in again, just move to another clan" he continued
"what about me and teyam?" lo'ak said
"what about you?" jake spoke
"we are kakunan now, these are our people, we are warriors for this clan" lo'ak spoke, "you want us to leave now?"
"watch who you talk to boy." jake spoke firmly
"he is right ma jake" neytiri said softly now placing her arms on jake
"whatever" jake said angrily pulling away and stepping into another part of the hut, neytiri sent a sympathetic look back to lo'ak before following him.
