A horn allertated the village of newcomers, of course since these were reef people it meant that people would have to run to the beach however the olo'eyktan, tsahìk and mä'reyna rode their ikrans to greet the family .
Once reyna had landed and gotten off her ikran she noticed the family were completely different to anything she had ever seen before, lighter skin with huge tails and large arms and legs. Her mother once again inspected the family as her father greeted the olo'eyktan.
Soon the sully family had joined the crowd of people gathered hissing at the new comers.
Lo'ak looked at reyna noticing the disgusted look on her face as she crossed her arms beginning to circle the family.
Catching the eye of who appeared to be the older brother she hissed, feeling ashamed or embarrassed he looked at the sand.
Reyna turned her back on the family now going to comfort some of the people her age in the crowd who hissed or groweled at the family.
"We seek refuge, our clans home has been destroyed by sky people. Our people killed. " tonowari spoke looking between the tsahìk and olo'eyktan.
mä'reyna made her way over to stand at her mothers side, looking over at lo'ak noticing his pleading eyes asking her to be nice.
"you are reef people, we are forest. you will have no use here" the tsahìk spoke.
"we will learn." spoke ronal., "please our children can learn. we can learn."
Mä'reyna walked over to the oldest boy, inspecting his hands and holding his arms to show her bother, " they will be no good at shooting bows. " she spoke softly looking up and meeting the boys eyes, filling lo'ak with jealousy.
"perhaps hunting fish?" the girl spoke turning back to her parents, looking over at lo'ak nodding.
"You are at war, we are not. why should we risk endangering our people for you?" the tsahìk spoke up once again eyeing up ronal and tonowari .
" we have left war behind us. we are done with war. we must just protect our family now. that is all we ask" tonowari said looking to the tsahìk with pleading eyes.
"You and your family may stay, however you must also learn to respect our ways in life. Your children and you may hunt fish." the kekunan clans olo'eyktan spoke up, he bekoned for ateyo to come forward. "ateyo will show you our village and the way to your hut. supper is at eclipse."
As the crowd started to dispurce and people went back to their dutys lo'ak came foreward to talk to reyna.
"thank you" he smiled.
"you are welcome." she smiled back placing a hand on his arm.
"mä'reyna i must tell you something" lo'ak began bringing his hands up and touching her forearms.
"what is it lo'ak she smiled looking up at him?"
"its-" before lo'ak could continue to two were interrupted by aonung.
"hey if it isnt the five fingered freak" he laughed holding up his arms to greet lo'ak but before the two could greet eachpther mä'reyna had already pulled out her dagger holding it to aonungs neck.
"do not speak to him like that." she hissed as aonung panicked under her blade, a hand reached out touching reynas waist pulling her away from aonung.
"reyna he was joking, it was a joke put your knife down." reyna listened to his words and placed her dagger back in her holder watching aonung put his hands to his neck smirking down at her.
"damn your feisty." he laughed looking the girl up and down. Lo'aks hand remained on her waist stopping her from angrily charging at the disgusting boy.
"shut up fish lips shes future olo'eyktan " lo'ak spoke rolling his eyes at the boy, laughing as he saw aonungs face change once he realised who he was actually speaking to.
"i apologise." he said embarrassed looking at the floor.
Mä'reyna didnt even acknowledge his apology, she just released herself from lo'aks grasp and mouted her ikran, quickly flying away leaving the two boys alone on the beach.
Aonung turned to look at lo'ak, "you're bagging that?" he said smiling teasing the other boy.
"bro its not like that we are just close"
"ill trade my sister to be close with her" aonung jokingly said before both boys walked away from the beach to their hurts.
