The girl had just focused on getting her mother to fall asleep as she sat in the centre of her hut, suddenly the sully family charged in.
"You dont know what you are doing!" jake shouted at the girl, calmly she stood.
"Do not doubt me, how dare you charge in here, remember who you speak to" she spoke firmly
"Look just is this worth war? why dont we just evactate-" jake spoke
"was my fathers life not worth war? was the olo'eyktans life not worth a war? the man who gave you a home heres life isnt worth war?" she questioned forcing jake to look down in embarrassment
"are you sure this is what he would want for you reyna?" lo'ak spoke calmly walking infront of the girl holding onto her forearms.
"the sky people killed him, killing whatever he wanted for me aswell." she spoke angrily, "his dreams and hopes for me are dead now."
"but reyna-"
"all that matters is what i want, and what i want is those sky people dead" she spoke looking at the family
"if you want war, we will follow you proudly. but we must warn you dear girl, it will not be easy." neytiri spoke softly, she knew exactly what mä'reyna was feeling and she just wanted her to be okay.
The family soon left to begin preparing like the rest of the clan, apart from lo'ak.
The two sat in the centre of the hut, mä'reyna finishing the herbal remedies her mother had started in the morning.
"are you scared?" lo'ak questioned
"i worry for my people" she spoke softly not looking up at him
"i guess i wont get to fight for your love anymore " he said with a chuckle
"ah yes what an inconvenience!" she spoke sarcastically however looking up at the boys sadden face she quickly apologised, "sorry it is not your fault lo'ak"
he nodded moving closer to her. He slowly pulled her hand away from what she was doing, holding it in his own.
"when all of this is over, i want to be with you reyna" he spoke, tears quickly overtook the girl as she pulled him into a hug.
"my father's funeral will be tomorrow, please come with me." she said resting her forehead on his.
"of course."
