HONOR AMONG THIEVES: THE LEGEND OF AKIRA

PT. 12 REVALATIONS

Akira, along with Nokia and Falco made the long journey around the strong magic region. The trip took nearly a month. Where as if they went through strong magic area, it only would've taken a few days to a week. But the longer trip was worth it to keep Nokia from getting sick again. As they finally closed in on their destination, Akira suggested that they land and go the rest of the way on foot.

NOKIA
Why?

AKIRA
These guys are a crafty bunch. And I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be exactly welcome here. So I'd rather not have them see us coming.

NOKIA
So I'm assuming you have a plan.

AKIRA
(slight chuckle)  Always.

They all found a good spot to land. Everyone dismounted their creatures and began walking. They came up to the top of a hiil and there on the other side was a large fort. Akira motioned for the other two to follow her into a group of trees. Nokia and Falco watched as Akira climbed one of the trees. She got near the top and began scouting the area. After a few moments she came back down.

AKIRA
Okay. Stay low, stay quiet and follow my lead.

Akira led Nokia and Falco towards the fort.

AKIRA
(thinking to herself) It's been a while since I broke in somewhere. Hope I'm not too rusty.

Once all three Made it to the fort. They quickly and quietly moved along the outer walls. 

NOKIA
(Whisper) How do we get in?

AKIRA
(Whisper) We always had a number of secret entrances. To the untrained eye they go unnoticed. But any half decent theif would be able to spot 'em.

NOKIA
(Whisper) Then wouldn't other thieves be able to get in and steal from you?

AKIRA
(Whisper) It's a code between all thieves not to steal from each other. Anyone who does becomes blacklisted by the criminal underground. And they'll have all their information reported to the authorities. Making it almost impossible to continue to evade arrest.

NOKIA
(Whisper) Wow who knew even criminals had codes of conduct.

FALCO
(Whisper/ Joking) Only the good ones anyway.

After some searching, Akira found the secret entrance. She carefully opened the hatch and motioned for everyone to be quiet. Then she led Nokia and Falco inside. All three of them quietly snuck through the hallways. Akira knew if she could find the main room, most of them would probably be there. As thieves they wouldn't be out in broad day light. And they,tended to to hang out in the common area of the hideouts when they weren't sleeping. As the three of them searched, they ran into one of the thieves walking the halls.

THIEF
Akira?!

Before he could do anything, Akira ran up and pushed him against the wall, covering his mouth. As he struggled, beginning to get out of her grasp, Akira looked at Falco.

AKIRA
A little help here please.

Falco walked over and took over restraining and keeping the thief quiet.

AKIRA
Here's what's gonna happen. I'm gonna ask you a few questions and you're gonna answer. And if you don't. Well let's just say you won't like what my friend does to you. Got it?

The thief nodded.

AKIRA
Good. Now where is everyone?

Falco let the thief speak.

THIEF
Nice try. I know you don't like hurting people. You're not gonna have your muscle here do anything.

He laughed. Then out of nowhere he felt a hard slap across the face.
