It reached Saturday night and I found myself panicking. For some reason I began putting on my best outfit and doing a full face of makeup, why am I doing this? This is so stupid.

I was about to get changed and wipe it all off when I heard the doorbell go. Oh great.

I rushed down the stairs so I could answer it before my sister does only to see she was about to answer it, "Ava no!" I hissed as I pretty much barged her out of the way.

I opened the door and saw Colin standing there, his eyes meeting mine immediately.

"Hi!" I spoke in a bit too much of excited tone. I heard my sister let out an audible gasp making it clear she remembered him from the tour.

"Hey..." he replied while looking behind me. Neither of us said anything for a moment we both just awkwardly stood there.

"You going to let me in or what?" The boy finally broke the silence making me quickly step to the side to let him in.

As soon as he stepped in so his back was facing me I looked towards my sister and gestured for her to go upstairs which she quickly followed.

"So uh... Where's your research?" I asked, looking down at his empty hands.

"I couldn't be bothered to type it... figured I could just tell it all to you and you could type it up." He grumbled while looking around the room.

Great, this is going to take longer them I thought it would.
I tried to hide my frustration as I grabbed the laptop off the table.

"Guess we better sit down then.." I mumbled while pulling out a chair for myself, as I went to sit down I felt it being pulled out from underneath me, causing me to fall to the floor. I felt the back of my head hit the counter.

Suddenly, I heard a burst of loud laughter and looked up to see Colin practically crying he was laughing so hard.

I reached to the back of my head where I had hit it and removed my hand to see blood.
"Jerk!" I cried out making his laughter immediately fade when he saw my hand.

"Holy shit. I didn't mean for you to hurt yourself." He spoke and quickly crouched down next to me. I pushed him away from me and got up, I turned my back to him and began walking towards the bathroom.

I heard his footsteps following me but ignored it. I got to the bathroom and tried to look in the mirror to see where it was bleeding but couldn't see where it was coming from.

I could feel the blood dripping down the back of my neck but couldn't see how bad it was.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you... It was just supposed to be a joke..." he murmured feeling guilty.

I didn't say anything. What dickhead pulls out the chair your about to sit on when there's a counter right behind you. Zero common sense.

"Can you just look to see how bad it is.." I half whispered. I may be really mad at him but I've never been good at standing up for myself. Especially when I know he's been to jail before.

He took a step towards me and moved my now blood-stained hair out of the way. He seemed hesitant to even touch me. It's like he was disgusted by me.

When I finally felt his hands touch my head they were shaking. Why is he shaking? If anyone should be shaking it should be me!

"Holy shit.. uh... I think you need to go to the hospital.. you might need stitches.." he cleared his throat as he stepped away. My eyes widened. Stitches?!

"You've got to be joking me. I don't have insurance you dick!" I suddenly blurted out but instantly regretted it, throwing my hands over my mouth and making him laugh a bit.

"I deserve to be called a dick, goody two shoes. I'll take you to the hospital and pay for as much as I can since it was my fault." He offered while reaching into his pocket and pulling out some keys.

"I need to tell my sister first." I half whispered, walking up the stairs and opening her door, "I've got to go to the hospital and get stitches, I hit my head on the kitchen counters.." I mumbled.

Her eyes widened and she sat up in her bed. "What?! Oh my god! Who's taking you?" She questioned while walking towards me.

"Colin." I replied while letting out a sigh. She raised her eyebrows at me and I already knew what she was going to say, "Ooh so you and your little eye candy are going for a drive I see." She smirks making me roll my eyes.

"Shut up, don't wait up I'm hoping it won't be too long." I laughed while shutting her bedroom door behind me and walking back down the stairs.

Colin was standing by the door waiting for me, avoiding eye contact. I slipped on some shoes and I followed him to his car.

It remained silent for the first 5 minutes before he broke it, "so uh... your little eye candy? He smirked at me causing my face to instantly turn bright red. Oh my god, he heard Ava!

"Oh god, your heard." I groaned, burying my face in my hands. He let out a laugh while looking at me still.

"So you think I'm hot then?" He continued teasing me making me wish the floor would swallow me up.

"Well at the moment I think you are an idiot.." I tried to move away from the subject.

"And what about before today? You think I'm devilishly handsome?" He laughed making me once again hide my face as it only got brighter red.

"Okay fine I'll give it to you, you're not the worst-looking guy I've seen... but I still think you are a massive idiot." I groaned as I looked out the window, I heard a small chuckle escape his lips.

"You're not the worst-looking either you know.." I could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

"I'm not trying to get in your pants, grey. Go flirt with some other girl." I scoffed, trying to hide my now blushing face. Chill girl. All he said was that your not ugly.
