what dating him is like

~after his death, kyle is essentially a cross between a wild animal and a frightened child

~he is quick to anger and confuses easily, which while entirely understandable, makes communicating with him difficult in the early days

~the process is a long one but after kyle decides that he trusts you, you're the only one he'll be around.

~kyle doesn't even look at you for the first few weeks of you visiting him, and even once he warms up to you, i don't know that eye contact is his favorite thing

~eye contact is intimidating, but being able to hold your hand on his own seems to bring him a lot of peace once he's comfortable around you.

~loves to have his hands on you, but does not like to be touched. even getting him to let you clean him up takes a lot of coaxing

~tracing the spots on your skin where he's scared, and enjoying the feeling of your skin beneath his fingers

~anytime you're around anyone else in the house, he gets very protective

~likes leaning his head into your chest the most because you're soft and warm, plus if he gets close enough he can hear your heartbeat

~sits outside the bathroom door when you shower, partially because he misses you and partially because he wants to make sure you're safe in there

~constantly needs, and frankly, demands your attention

~huffs and puffs when you so much as look away from him to answer a question or talk to someone else

~loves when you play with his hair and would probably nudge your hand like a dog to get you to do it more when you're laying together or sitting on the couch

~is incredibly in tune to you at all times. he knows what you need, what you think, or what you're feeling before you do

~after he learns to speak again, his favorite thing in the world is talking to you late at night in a hushed tone. his voice cracks and breaks a little bit as he goes on but you don't mind because he's improving

~kyle also loves to say your name, and i think he'd prefer that to any kind of nickname

~he genuinely loves you in a way that he never could have in his life. you took him at his worst time and brought him back up to better than he was before

~is generally enthralled with you, and everything you are. he loves the way you smell, the way your voice sounds, and the pattern of your heartbeat

~kyle asks you a thousand questions about everything with his eyes all lit up and listens with a small grin on his face

~for sure plans little picnics and cute little dates for the two of you, going as far as packing lunches and blankets in a wicker basket like in the movies

~you two talk about everything you can think of. you learn about kyle's dreams and aspirations and tell him all of yours

~loves to give you gifts, but in the most endearing way, like, kyle would bring home leaves and pretty rocks for you that he found around the academy, just because they're pretty like you

~swinging your hands between the two of you as you walk

~kyle is the type of guy to talk your ear off all night, and forget sleep entirely just because he doesn't want to miss a second with you

~is an incredible listener, and while he loves to talk to you, kyle could listen to you blabber on about the things you care about for the rest of his life if he could

~loves music and even after he speaks really well, he sometimes still uses music to express the way he feels when words get too difficult

~soft, gentle pecks on your forehead, lips, and that palms of your hands

~naturally, kyle has really cold feet which he chooses to run up and down your legs all night long, driving you absolutely insane

~prefers to use your chest or shoulder as a pillow when he sleeps, just so that he can be sure you aren't going to go anywhere in the middle of the night

~is the sweetest, the absolute sweetest
