Being friends with Minho is both easy and hard. There are times where he could let his feelings leak into his actions and words, but there are also times where he had to keep a tight lid on it, burry it deep under.

Their weekend dinners and night time tea came as a routine at this point. Something that Seungmin looked forward to because they would talk, light and civil, but spent time listening to each other's day nonetheless. While they sometimes missed the good mornings, they usually end their evening with good nights before disappearing to their respective rooms.

"Are you going to study some more, Seungmin?" asked the older as both of them walked up the stairs.

Their proximity allows the back of their hands to brush against each other with every syncronised step they took and Seungmin fought the urge to just interlocked their fingers.

"Mmhmm. Need to review some of the slides professor uploaded earlier," he managed to avert his eyes from their painfully close hands to look at Minho's side profile. "Are you going straight to bed?"

Minho stifled a yawn and nodded, failing to notice the fondness bleeding out from Seungmin's eyes.

"Yeah. I have an early meeting to hold tomorrow. Good thing my paperworks are all done."

"Have a good night, Minho."

"Mmhm. Good night, Seungmin."

Those are the easy and familiar ones, and Seungmin cherished them. He looked forward to these times the most because he could feed his yearning, even just by a bit. During these instances, Seungmin would also have Minho's attention directed solely on him.

"I might have to stay late starting Monday next week for a group project."

Minho hummed, "The one you mentioned before about the community based project?"

"Yes, that one. There's a lot to do but the deadline is too close," sighed the younger, unconsciously pouting.

"We'll have to make sure you get your needed dose of caffeine then," Minho cheerily laughed and Seungmin has no choice but to become even more smitten.

And on the rare times they decided to do grocery shopping to stock up their fruits in the pantry or buy something specific for dinner, Seungmin always wondered if it would be different if both of them were only normal people. Not business-related, no arranged proposition. Would they be able to go shopping as two husbands that are head over heels for each other then?

"Seungmin, your fingers look like they're about to break," Minho shook his head and gestured to the two shopping bags filled to the brim. "Hand them over."

The younger took a step away and insisted that he is fine carrying them to the car, "It's just around the corner anyway."

"Fine, suit yourself."

Once both of them reached their car with Hojun waiting to assist them, Minho snatched Seungmin's wrists and flipped them from his palms to the back of his hands and back.

"What are you doing?"

Minho hummed, "You bruised easily. I'm carrying the stuffs from now on."

That kind of comments are said so casually by Minho. Like a friend stating an observation and understandably being considerate. But to Seungmin, it seems like Minho is blurring the lines.

They were at the meat section after filling majority of the cart with fruits. Seungmin undoubtedly know much less than Minho about these meats so he was trying very hard to read the descriptions on the display before picking.
