“Where have you been?” He welcomed with a grimace look in his face. You closed the door slowly without making any noise.
It was already late at night when you decided to return. You were having fun roaming around the place that you were oblivious to the passing of time.
“I’m just hanging around, I didn’t do anything.” You explained assuring him, you’re thinking he might worried that you made a mess outside as he was responsible for you.
Your thoughts of him having worries disappeared after seeing him only on the couch working some paper while drinking tea.
He put them down on the table keeping his glare at you as if you did something horrible that he didn’t like.
He said, “People were on panicked, they send us a petition to put you back in jail.”
You sighed heavily as you sat down joining him on the couch. “I thought I have freedom for three months, why refraining me from walking around,”
he looked at you as if he realizes something, and you return your gaze back at him trying to figure out what was going through his mind,
what was he thinking?
You have to show him that you can’t be dominated by anyone even him. He looked away and took a stand leaving you.
“Wait, where is my room?” You asked and followed him. You froze on your feet in shock leaving your mouth gape open as you watched him opened the door of the room before replying, “You will be sleeping in my room.”
He turned to face and was frowning when he sees your expression, so he added, “So I can see your every move. It is to ensure everyone’s safety here.” He said to which you nodded in hesitation.
So they are making Levi to keep on watching me even in my sleep, that’s absurd.
As you looked around the room, you notice everything here was neat and organized. You never imagined that there’s someone in the survey corps manage to keep the room tidy.
“I don’t have bed here, so sleep on the couch. “You look at Levi surprised and replied instantly, “You don’t sleep?”
You followed him with your gaze as he exited the room but before he shut the door closed, he said, “Sasha lends some of her clothes that you can use.”
He turned around and was about to close the door when he looked back as though he remembered something. “Don’t touch anything inside,” and finally closed the door.
Simply sighing, you reached for the clothes that were lying on the couch. You appreciate Sasha’s kindness in allowing you to wear her clothes.
After changing, you lie down, relaxing yourself. You stare at the white ceiling and started to imagine things. You thought about Marley.
You don’t understand how there are still humanity outside when outside of these walls were flooded with titans.
Are there some walls outside like here or do they lived underground? You really don’t get it.
Enough thinking, my head began to ache.
You immediately close your eyes utterly when the door unexpectedly opens. You heard footsteps approaching as it stops and felt he was staring at you, you did your very best not move even an inch and keep on pretending that you were sleeping.
It lasted a few seconds before resumed walking. You assume that he was going to his desk. He is so committed to his work that he doesn’t even think about sleeping.
