You observe them as they have their training, practice shooting, use their new odm gear and everything.
On the other hand, you were just watching them with disappointment from where you were.
You're in bad mood because of your meeting with Ms. Kiyomi the other day and now you were filled with disappointment. You were so eager to join.
You turn to look at Levi, who is studying the papers on the table next to you and reviewing their plans.
“Hey Levi, won’t you let me have my practice or training? I should be participating in their training as well.”
He gives you a fleeting glance before returning to his reading. You sighed heavily.
You know that they are only being cautious around you and won’t let you hold any weapon. You failed to understand on what’s the point on refraining you from it.
“Look I’m not going to harm anyone; I just want to…you know, practice my skills. It’s been a long time since I battled and needed to train.” You said trying to convince him, hoping to reconsider.
He only gave you a silent response to which you grimace in dismay.
You didn’t pled more and even you don’t like it, you stayed there with him only watching the scouts especially his squad.
“Armin is a slow fighter, Connie and Jean, I think their good. This Mikasa girl is fast and super fierce but of course she’s far from my level.”
You paused and shifted your gaze to Sasha at the shooting ground.
“Sasha is good at shooting but not sharp as mine. All in all you have good team adding up Armin being a titan shifter. I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I can beat them all by myself.”
Levi looked at you as you continue to babble and keep on commenting every move they do. You watch Armin being pinned down by Jean at the ground.
“Not a good stunt for Armin, if he will stay on the battle field I know he won’t last, fortunately he possesses titan powers. Thinking about it, how can I become a titan with my will?” You couldn’t help but to ask as it’s intrigued you.
When you turned to your side to see Levi but you only found him already glaring at you. You raises your brow, “What?”
“What weapon do you excel at?” He asked as he fixes the papers and set them aside.
“Everything,” you proudly say.
He stood up and handed you a knife, which made you smile in excitement.
I’m going to witness man’s skills, then.
You followed him on the field, but you frown when he was only in bear hands.
“You’re underestimating me; remember I am a shadow killer.” You said while playing the knife with your hand.
He only looks at you still wearing his stoic look before saying, “If you defend and keep the knife until you beat me, you win. But if I steal it away from you, you lose.”
You smirk hearing that. Without wasting any time, you dashed forward and blow attacks against him.
You weren’t surprised that he was good, you hadn’t even managed to hit once; he was very good at dodging and was very quick.
Scouts in the area were enthralled to see the fierce battle you two were having, and you were loudly booed by them.
When the surrounding becomes increasingly loud, it begins to distract you.
With his quick leg, he kicked your hand out of instant making the knife to blow away from your grip.
The knife that was soaring through the air caught everyone’s attention and all eyes.
You panicked that he might win against you, taking a chance you swing your leg to kick him in the face to knock him down, but he just blocked it with his hand.
You’re eyes got widened and leave you dumbfounded, with his strength holding your ankle he thrown you away.
Damn it!
You wince in pain as you landed the ground; it was a bad land and it gives you so much pain at your side.
You silently groan enduring the pain, trying to take a stand. You can’t let him take the knife, and you can’t let him win.
You turn to gaze at Levi where he was on his way to take the knife on the ground.
You sighed in defeat when you see him take it, signifying his victory. Everyone became very loud celebrating his win.
I lose!
Holding your side you took a stand and watch him walk towards you. He is neither happy nor angry at all. How he was feeling couldn’t be read.
You watch him throws the knife to you and you catch it with your reflexes, he then said, “Stop mocking my squad. They might not good as you, but you can’t win against me,” and then he left.
You rolled your eyes as he walk away leaving the place. “Yeah, yeah, whatever.”
You fix yourself and still feeling the pain. You then heard everyone in the place laughing. You raise your head and look around to find them laughing at you.
“Did you see that, the shadow killer got folded by our humanity’s strongest soldier? She don’t even stand a chance against him”
“Right, she’s easily defeated by him.”
“I told you she’s not that strong not like the rumors said.”
You gritted your teeth and closed your fist as they keep on laughing at you. Your blood starts to boil in anger.
“She’s just full of herself, walking around claiming herself the shadow killer.”
At this point you can’t hold back your rage any longer.
You hastily raise your hand the one holding the knife in attempt to attack, but before you could throw, aiming for his head when someone’s hand stop you, preventing you from committing a crime once more.
You look at the person angrily to which only leave you startled to see Levi. You were surprised by how quick he reacted. People around was surprised as well.
“Let go.” You uttered glaring back at him, but he didn’t, instead holding your hand so tightly.
“Did you see that, she was about to kill me. Glad you’re here Captain.” The other scout said sound being relief.
“If you kill someone here, you’ll be back in jail in no time.” Levi says in a very low tone.
You didn’t respond instead you snatched your hand back while keeping your eyes fixed on him.
“I don’t care; I’m going back there after these few months.” You said then take your leave; you have to leave before losing your mind there.
In a distance you heard the scout exclaims. “Yeah just go back, you don’t belong here.” You did remember his face, that guy with auburn hair.
You have two people now in your black list, adding him. If you have the chance, you should kill him by putting a whole in his head, that will be a better death for him.
