Every step you take is accompanied by your sullen. You don’t like the things they make you do.
Together with the squad, you were transporting boxes of goods from the warehouse to the market. You are now walking in the street with loaded hands.
They say that the owner of the market was shorthanded and seek for help, since you and squad are all free. It leaves you no choice.
You were at the back following them. You know that they feel uncomfortable with your presence and that Levi isn’t around so you choose to walk behind them.
Walking along the street, you only ignore the people around as they gossips about you. You're very famous as you hold criminal records.
It didn’t take long as you finally arrived at the market. The place was too crowded and is very busy, but as soon as they see you, they dispersed in terror.
You set down the boxes, stacked atop one another.You remember this place clearly and nothing has changed.
Looking around the place, you noticed Armin conversing with a person who might have been the owner.
"Sasha stop that, they will caught you." You heard Connie scolding Sasha close by, and as you turned to look, you saw Sasha attempting to steal a boiled potato.
You chuckled witnessing her, getting crazy for potato.
You were about to ignore them when an intimidating man abruptly tugged Connie’s collar.
"You scouts had nothing better to do than carry on messing about. What are scouts can do without Eren, you must take him back." He exclaims calling the attention of everyone here, taking on his side and they start hurling insults.
You approached, wrapping your hand around his wrist. "Let him go, you bastard," you said in a stern, menacing voice.
He merely raises his brow as he glances at you. "I recognized you. You're that famous shadow killer." He said as if he had found something that is very amusing to him.
You tighten your grip on his wrist to which he wince pain.
"Y/N, stop it. He's one of our supplier and giving contribution to scouts. You can't just harm anyone here." You heard Armin said trying to stop you, but it’s clear in his voice that he’s terrified as he stuttered.
"Supplier? Well, I'm sorry I don't chose people who I am going to kill. If they get in my nerve they'll die."
You aggressively pulled him away from Connie and already closed your fist in preparation to blow his face but when you’re about to, someone at your back pulled from him.
Who is it this time?
You frown looking at the person behind. "Everyone go back now, we can't afford to cause a scene here." Levi said.
You push him away and fixed yourself up. He was always showing when you were about going to commit a crime.
"Hey Captain Levi, when are you going to retrieve Eren, he can only save us, and we can't have a peaceful life without him," the intimidating man uttered.
He was only behaving in that way because he's a contributor to the survey corps.
He looked at your way and then continued, “Why recruiting her in scouts, she will only stab you from behind.”
Your teeth grit in rage, he really pisses you off. Now there are three in your black list, he deserves to die in your hand.
Before you could do something, Levi then said to him, "Stay still, do what you usually do and leave this matter to us."
You were surprised on how Levi sounded. He sounds very calm and was full of assurance; it's very unusual to hear, giving you a strange vibe.
You all began to walk leaving the market, while everyone in the squad scolding Sasha, since she started it making Connie almost got hit with that man.
You folded your arms as you walk with Levi on your side, wearing your grimace look.
"You shouldn't have confronted him; you almost killed him by how upset you appear," he uttered next to you. You only wear your annoyed face and didn’t respond to him.
You heard him sighed before saying, "They are only scared because Eren left as he was our only hope. You can't blame him."
Finally, you turn to face him. He was only looking forward still wearing his straight face.
You never had seen him happy and even sad, even when talking he sounded plain and sometimes sounded mad, but earlier was different, he was full of assurance and it took you by surprised.
While looking at him, on your peripheral vision you saw someone you recognized getting inside a flower shop.
"Hey Levi, can I go back later, I have somewhere to go, just leave me here." You said as you hurriedly walk away heading to that store.
You left Levi there without giving him a chance to react, instead he only watched you walk away. Luckily he didn't stop you.
As soon as you step inside the store, you start scanning the area for that certain person.
Too many people and you're having trouble finding him. Everyone was startled seeing you, and is avoiding you.
You keep on walking and looking around the place until you eventually spot him.
You beam with unbridled joy. Once more, you got to see him.
So, this is where he purchases those flowers.
You approached him discreetly from behind. "We meet again." You said making him flinched in surprised.
He turned to see you and we're even more astonished as he quickly moved away from you.
"What do you want from me? Why are following me?" He stuttered while pointing the flowers he was holding at you.
You laugh silently as you reach his hand and set them down.
"I'm not going to hurt you. See this uniform, I'm a scout." You said while showing him you’re in uniform.
You look at him just to find him looking at you very terrified; you can even see how he trembles in fear.
"Could you please stop following me? If you like me, well I don't. Just please leave me alone." He said as he begs for peace and hurriedly walks away leaving you.
Your smile vanished hearing it from him. You thought that maybe your approach is wrong.
You exhaled as it felt heavy on you. You began to walk to leave the place but we're startled when you see Levi leaning his back against the wall not so distance from you while folding his arms.
You approached him expectant that he heard everything. "Got busted?" He commented as you two exited the place.
"You shouldn't have waited me." You said lowering your voice but sound of sadness.
"Who's that guy?" He asked, and you replied without looking at him. "Just someone related."
He frown hearing it, he's confused and failed to understand.
You sighed and smiled bitterly, "Isn't it ironic that he recognizes me as the shadow killer and not his older sister."
He looked at you very surprised and even lost in words. You added, "But it's fine. I got to see him living a fine life."
