You stretched up yourself, and yawned. You rub your eyes before opening them completely. This one was a comfortable sleep.

Your attention shifted to the table, where you see Levi sleeping very peacefully. When you gaze outside through the window, dawn had finally arrived.

You cautiously got to your feet without making any disturbance and walked over to him holding your blanket.

Perhaps because you consistently wake up late, you haven’t ever seen him sleep all these time.

You look around the desk, seeing load of papers and an empty cup on his side. You’ve just realized he was a tea addict.

You wrap the blanket around him very carefully not to awaken him.

You can't help but to look at his face and get to see it closely. He has fine nose, lips that aren’t too pouty, and light furrowed, twitching brows.

Just by looking at him, you can tell that he was having trouble sleeping.

Does he having problem on his sleep?

Wondering, you move your hand, reaching for his head and gently stroking his hair. He has this very soft hair and smells good.

After a while the twitch in his brow has subsided, and he was now appearing so calm.

You thought that maybe there was something that keeps bothering that’s why he’s having a hard time to sleep. He was hideous person who was really difficult to read.

As you begin to carefully remove your hand to leave, a warm hand grabs hold of it to stop you. You jerkily shudder and utter a hushed gasp in response to it. You were taken aback by his sudden action.

You are more astonished when he slowly open his eyes and look at you. You pulled your hand free from his hold as you straightened up.

"I-I didn't mean t-to wake you up," you said and distancing yourself from him. You watch him sit down properly and wash his face with his hand.

Is he mad because I wake him up?

He stares back at you and commented, "You woke up very early, and it was unusual."

"Y-Yeah, I mean I should, since I'm going to have my training," you reasoned out. In this uneasiness you felt, you move your feet toq walk away.

"I'll get ready and warm myself up," you said without looking at him and exited the room. You got worried for a while as you thought he will go berserk if you touch him again.

After taking a bath, cleaning yourself, you headed at the backyard and brought a waster, you're practice weapon.

The surrounding was finally lighted up and the sun could now be seen. When you arrived, no one was around so it's perfect for your practice.

You relaxed by taking a big breath before setting up in stunt with your waster.

You need to get back and remember your swordsmanship. It was a very long time since you swing a sword, you must condition yourself before going to the battlefield.

You move, appearing to be battling and attacking someone as you swing you waster in the air.

Your hand moves quickly in sync with your foot movements. More likely, it was a dance. You close your eyes and feel every action you take. You're imagining yourself as if you're in a battle.

You swing your sword with as hard as you can, cutting his head off. Blood splattered all around the place.

It was very chaotic, hearing the voice of agony and screams in horror. Lifeless body was on the floor and some were struggling and aggressively gasping for air.

"Someone help me..." you halted, and look at the man blankly, without any expression, he was crawling and desperately attempting to escape.

"Please..." he begs, but without wasting any sweat you stab your sword at his back, killing him.

You then felt a cold knife stabbed at your side. You look at the woman, who is trembling and very terrified as she looks up at you.

She slowly pull his hand away from the knife, "I-I’m sorry, I'm very--," she says appearing she regrets doing it.

The blood sprouting when you pull the knife out of instant and use it to slit her throat to death. You watched her body collapse on the floor and bathed on her own blood.

You wince in pain trying to stop the blood at your side but it was not much help. You have to flee before you lose blood.

You continue to swing your blade and slay mercilessly, taking the lives of everyone who crosses your path.

Even your breathing got labored; you endured the pain at your side. You must kill them all before they could kill you.

Cutting their limbs off, screams, cries, begging for mercy are all you could hear and see before putting an end to their life. They did nothing to you, but this is your duty, annihilating them all.

"…Y/N," even you're tired and were gasping for air; you didn't stop and keep on moving, swinging your sword.

"Y/N," someone is calling your name in a fade voice. You think you heard that voice before and recognized him.

What is his name again?

"Y/N…do you hear me?"

"Y/N!"

You snapped your eyes wide open. You were at your knees still holding the waster at your hand, and is now trembling.

You glance at him while perspiring heavily and having sweat on your face.

"Levi..." you muttered his name in a very low tone. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked worryingly. You look down and trying to collect yourself.

You replied, "I'm fine,"  and breathed out before taking a stand, giving him a smile. "Is breakfast ready? I'm hungry," you said as you began to walk, avoiding his stares.

"If you're not feeling well, you can excuse yourself from training today," Levi said, you're wondering why Levi is so soft today.

"Forget it, I can't skip the training. I need to regain my strength," you explained and began to walk away, hoping he consider.

You're thinking why it suddenly flashes in your mind since it happens so long ago.

You remember all the things very clearly like it happened yesterday, and you can even smell the atmosphere of the palace.

You were halted when he grabbed your wrist to stop you. You got startled and turned around to see him.

"You're not okay, look how pale you are, tell me if there's something wrong," he then said, his voice was full of concern.

You’ve never seen this side of him. It was like you’re facing a different Levi.

"Are you worried or something?" you asked with matching a little laugh, trying to pull your hand away from his grip but he only tightens it to which you grimace.

"You looked awful," he said, finally understanding, he really is worried. You took a deep sigh and pull your hand away from him and finally freed yourself.

You don't understand why he act this way, he's not supposed to be like this.

You look at him and said, "Don’t worry; I’ll still be alive until our marriage." He took a deep breath as he brushes his hair back, getting upset for bringing up this marriage thing again.

“Could you please stop it already? It’s not funny anymore.” You watched Levi as he take his leave. What’s with him, he’s changing his mood drastically.

“I won’t stop, I like seeing your upset face,” you yelled enough for him to hear. When the scenario of nine years ago flashes in your mind had leave you concern.

You look at the waster in your hand, you're having a hard time collecting yourself, you need you practice more and must forget it
