Promise (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 23

You’re heading towards the harbor, after finding out that scouts is sending reinforcement.

You’re whipping the reign of the horse to speed up its pace. You leap off your horse as you arrived and sneak around silently.

You’re a wanted person, so you can’t risk getting yourself caught. You must find Levi and everyone of where they are hiding.

You lean against the wall after noticing two scouts roaming around. They are not in the odm gear but holding a fire gun. You have no weapon in you so you’re going to take them down with bare hand.

You gave them a quick and surprise attack. With their unconscious body you pull them over and hide their body somewhere that no one can find.

You take their fire gun with you as it was loaded and can be very useful. You keep looking around as you run through the area to look for them.

The harbor seemed to be secured already by the scouts and anytime soon if you can’t get in touch with others you will be caught. You take a peek after hearing rushing footsteps of the horse.

You were relieved after recognizing them, it was Armin and Connie but why do they loiter around riding their horses, just what are the planning.

“Armin! Connie!” You called almost in whisper but glad they heard you enough. They were astonished after seeing you. Armin looks around before hopping down the horse and approached you.

“What are you doing here? Captain said that you had successfully escaped but why you’re here?” He asked but his voice clearly is panicking.

“I’m here to help.” You said. He was a bit surprised but then quickly collected himself and smiles holding you on your shoulder.

“We’re going to trick Floch as he has the Azumabito. If it fails, blood will be shredded. We will kill all the Yeagerist.”

So they are really going to kill their comrades. That is to be expected if you don’t share the same purpose but as for you Levi is your primary priority.

I need to see him.

“They were with the cart titan not too far from here in the west. Captain is with them.” You nodded and began to move but before you two got parted ways he said, “Thank you.” To which you smile in return.

You headed toward west in search for them, you run and in just few minutes you arrived to where they were hiding.

“Yo!” You greeted making them look at you very surprised and even Levi has his eye widened looking at you. “What are you doing here?” he asked as you approached him.

You don’t know if he was concern but you’re glad that he was looking better than before.

Is this some kind of power the Ackerman possessed, healing very fast than us human can do?

You sat down next to him while looking around. Hange and others are absent the only here is Levi, two kids, Onyankopon, Yelena and this ugly Cart titan.

“Are you sure you wouldn’t regret it. You could’ve escaped with this situation.” He said. You look at the harbor curving a little smile.

“I met my father who encourages me with his words. I have to make him proud.” You said, he looks at you without knowing how to react and what to say, he only remain silent.

As you look into his eyes, you’re a bit surprise; his fear was evident in his eye. It is the very first time ever witnessing him in that emotion.

You wonder if he was worried about you. You remember how desperate you were to see him when you were in jail, and now that he is in front of you, you’re now eager to express your true feelings to him. Either act now or never.
