July 1st 2022:
It has been 3 weeks since the events of the parade and much has changed as well. I'll start by saying that Juan and uncle gary got traded, sad right. Well at the end of the season Juan and uncle gary became free agents and are not signed with the Warriors forever. so here's the deets.
uncle gary signed a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers for 4 year 1M contract
Juan is heading to LA.
and last but certainly not least, my uncle is heading to the phoenix suns.
and yes that man is damion lee.
I lay on my queen sized bed watching Abby's Ultimate Dance Competiton when I hear a knock on the door. I rush down there to see and to my surprise it was Devyn standing with Kai.
" Hi Carrington". Kai says smiling at me
"hi honey". I say hugging him.
Devyn hands me his backpack with all his needs inside.
"I'll be travelling for a few days because I'm performing an emergency surgery on a child in Uganda". she says
"Aww, that's so sweet, you'll do great". I tell her
Kai runs into Devyn's arms and gives her a kiss.
"Be good with your auntie, bubs". Devyn says sweeetly as she walks out the door.
" Okay honey go upstairs with your cousins, while I go handle some things." I say to Kai sweetly.
Kai runs upstairs and I go upstairs to my room to prepare for the LA county talent show coming up in a few weeks. As I'm walking around in circles trying to figure out what song I want to sing at the talent show. A favorite childhood song of mine comes to mind, it's How Do I Get There From Here from Disney's A.N.T. Farm.
"OMG, this is the best idea yet". I say
I sit on my bed and I start to prep my voice. I've been singing pretty good since I've started taking estrogen.
" Do re mi fa so la si do". I sing
"Ughhh, not the right tone". I say
"Do re mi fa so la si do". I sing again...
"Yes, I found it." I screamed in enjoyment.
The kids walked into my room and asked if I was getting dinner ready.
"Oh shit, I totally forgot kiddos I'll get started right away". I say in surprise
"Go back in Canon's room until dinner is ready." I said.
The kids go back into Canon's room and I go into the kitchen.
"Fuck, what should I make the kids". I groan.
"Ahhh. I got it, chicken alfredo". I say out loud.
I rush to the cabinet to gather all the seasonings needed to craft the perfect dinner the kids would love.
