"Brian we've both been called every name in the book because were both men." Tim said looking at Brian. "What really set you off?" Brian looked at Tim then his leg.

"I don't know." He said softly. "I wasn't myself I can tell you that. It wasn't the Slender sickness either. I was just filled with rage." He explained to the two men at his side.

"There's the Zalgo plague, but that shouldn't affect you." I said. "Unless." He paused for a minute then tried to remove Brian's shirt. Tim pushed me away from Brian. "I know his mark is on his chest. I need to see if its fading." I said.

"The mark doesn't fade Jeff." Tim said looking at me.

"Please if I am wrong I'll do what ever you want for a month."I begged. Brian sighed and lifted his hoodie. The mark on his left breast was gone. Tim look astonished. "I told you it could happen. We just have to figure out what caused it."

"What does it mean if it disappears? How did you even know that could happen?" Brian asked nervously.

"I found this old book in the file room. It wasn't clear how it happened, but it said something about a type of punishment. Have you pissed the master off recently?" Brian shook his head. The air became cold and thick. "Well we're about to find out." A cloud of shadows appeared and the faceless one stepped from it.

"Sir what is going on?" Brian asked nervously. "What happened to my mark?"

"Brian, my oldest proxy, my most trusted proxy. You have severed me for many years. Your kill count was low so I took your mark. To return the mark you need to kill the one man you forgot." The tall man said looking at the injured male. "You have been too kind. You have spared many. Your job is to kill in my name."

"Who do I have to kill?" Brian asked. His breathing became shallow. Visions of the past began to flood his mind. A bird appeared, then Jay appeared holding a camera. After Jay he saw the window seal that he fell from. "I understand sir." Brian said. He used the tree behind him to stand. "I will do as you ask."

The creature disappeared and Tim rushed to his boyfriend. "Who was he talking about?" Tim asked holding Brian's shoulders .

"I have to return to the place of my death and kill Jay. It is the only way to earn my place again." Brian said as he began to walk toward the quad shed. Tim followed close behind.

"Brian I know this needs to be done. I know I can't stop you. Let me come with you in case things go south." Tim said and Brian nodded. "Jeff in our absence watch the camp. We will be back in three days."

"It takes six second to kill someone." I said looking at the couple as they hopped on a quad. "Why three days?"

"Where we are from is not close. It is about a day travel. Then we have to find Jay." Brian said as he started the ATV. They left I stayed by the shed got a while before I returned to my cabin. Zero was on my couch. Natalie sat next to her.

"What are you doing here?"I asked Natalie. She looked at me confused.

"I'm hanging out with the new girl duh."

"Get the fuck out. You don't come into my cabin without my permission." I growled at her.

"Why are you so fucking mean? I haven't done anything to you!"

"Not me directly but you keep sleeping around with Tim. It hurts my friend. I beat the shit outta him in front of you last time." I said as I walked into my kitchen. I heard the door slam shut I looked up from the counter and she was gone. Thank fucking god. "You are not allowed to be her friend."

"Hey Jeff can I ask you a question?" Zero said softly.

"I might have an answer for you."

"What happened on the field today?I saw Toby dragging Nina by her collar through the compound into the cages. That was after I saw you and Tim sprinting into the woods. You left in such a hurry."

I sign heavily. I grab a bottle from my liquor cabinet and I bring it over to the couch and sit next to her. "It doesn't concern you but I'm sure you'll hear of it. I'd rather you learn from me not your teammates. Now as you know you can't tell anyone shit." She nodded at me and I sat back on the couch and took a swig from the bottle. "Something is happening to Brian and it's not good. Masters seems to be fighting over him. His mark was gone. He will be gone for a couple days with Tim to earn it back."

"But why we're they dragging Nina back?"

"She said something to him and attacked him. Brian lost his cool and almost killed her. If Tim and I didn't show up she'd be dead." I take another swig. "I've only seen him that angry once. And I've known him almost nine years."

"What does this mean for us?"

"It won't effect you guys other than Brian and Tim's squads getting some rest for a few days. I've run the compound alone before. Brian used to go on away missions a lot a few years ago but he's needed more here now." I offer her the bottle she takes it and sips from it. "Keep Natalie away she attracts Tim and you know I don't want him around you."

"I know Jeff." Her voice was soft. "She just came over and was telling me about something Toby caught her doing."

"Probably Tim." I say with a slight chuckle.
