I awoke from my nap when the recurrent sounds of my bell alarm menacingly swept through the room. Groaning aloud, I debated on whether to shut my eyes for just a few seconds longer. But, after glancing at the time, I realized just how long I had been asleep. Grabbing my cellphone from the bedside table, I tensed when a text message from Coco appeared on the screen.

Coco: Sasha, you better be in the living room in T-5 minutes!

Five minutes? I hadn't even unpacked any of my clothes yet.

Stumbling out of the tempting bed, my first task at hand was to change out of my rumpled clothing. I had initially come to the house covered in bundled layers of warm coats and jackets, but now all I wanted to do was throw on some loose, casual loungewear.

Sifting through my overpacked suitcase, I stopped when I found a pair of silk shorts and a white cropped tee-shirt. After placing my untamed locks into a neat bun and applying a thick layer of lip gloss, I grabbed a light cardigan and left my room just as Vivian walked by. She was also dressed rather casually, wearing fluffy cotton pajama pants and a tight black tank top.

"Damn girl, your boobs are so big. It's not fair." She squirmed, reaching out to squeeze my generous masses in her hands.

"Shit, I forgot to put on a bra. I'll be right back." I only then realized the forgotten article of clothing after her hand had brazed my nipples.

"Uh uh. You're not going anywhere. Operation Ken-asha is in full effect." She gripped my hand and jutted us forward.

"Ken-asha?"

"Kendall+ Sasha. C'mon, you have to admit that it has a nice ring to it. Don't think I didn't see the way you two were practically gawking at each other on the plane."

"Girl, whatever." I brushed off the nickname, not wanting to reveal to her that Kendall and I were very much a thing.

I had been contemplating on who to open up to about all my pent up relationship drama. It would be a long story to tell, starting from the very beginning of my tumultuous history with Kendall. Over time, I had internalized many of my unresolved emotions, which made me think how much easier it would be if I had someone to vent to.

However, my options were quite limited at the moment. I couldn't tell Coco. Not when she was still friends with Patricia. She had a big mouth and I didn't want to risk the possibility of it accidentally slipping from her lips on a drunken girls' night out. And I still wasn't sure just how much I could trust Vivian. Though I liked her, I appreciated how my personal life remained separate from my work one.

Once we entered the living room, I briefly scanned the space. Everyone had already been sitting on the vintage couches adorning the massive quarters, waiting for Vivian and I to arrive. We both took a seat on the last vacant couch, while Coco quickly stood from her place on the plush carpet. She seemed to be fully embracing her role as a self-proclaimed host.

"Alright, looks like you're all finally here. To start off, I think it's only right that we play a few rounds of Truth or Dare. However, I wouldn't be me without adding a bit of a twist to the game. So, if you pick truth or refuse to do a dare, you have to take a shot." She excitedly pointed to an unopened Tequila bottle on the center table, along with a couple of stacked shot glasses stationed next to the liquor.

"Okay, so I'll spin the bottle first and whoever it lands on has to choose between truth or dare." Coco spun the empty wine bottle in the middle of our circle until it landed on an unassuming Isabella.

"Truth or dare."

"Truth."

"Um, let's see...what are you most looking forward to about marrying Sean?" Coco questioned, causing my growing nerves to settle. If these were the types of harmless questions I could expect to receive, I would contently join in the festivities.
