When they open the door to the interior of Tyr's temple, they see Mimir's head lying and abandoned inside.

Berenice:Mimir?
Mimir:Lass, I'm so glad to see you! I can't stand the charm of the dwarves anymore...
Atreus:What happened Mimir?
Mimir:They did a bunch of measurements and then they were fighting about something!
Berenice:We must now find out what happened to the serpent.
Mimir:Well, listen. It's been longer than you probably realize. The reptile is fine, but it looks like maybe a sign of the Aesir is near Thamur's corpse, and maybe some presence of giants.

And then Kratos locks the Bifrost inside the table for them to go back and Berenice is surprised to hear this as they return back to Midgard.

Berenice:It's not possible. The giants are lost.
Mimir:Actually, the presence of a giantess who walks around with a flaming sword.

It doesn't remind the kids of anything, but it does remind Kratos... this woman is Lyra, Faye's old lost friend who disappeared before Berenice was born and who is apparently a giant herself.

Kratos:Flaming sword... Lyra.
Atreus:Mom's lost friend?
Berenice:Yes... let's go to Thamur's corpse!

The travel flash passes to Midagrd's door and everyone runs to it, Kratos opens it and everyone rushes out the door to the door to the branches of Yggdrasil.
There in the branches towards the door in Thamur's area wondering if Lyra got there. When they get there, and walk out the door they realize that the reptile has indeed risen outside until the children first notice a makeshift shelter next to the ruined old village with a fire lit.

There they see the back of a woman covered with a bear skin which they arrive at first puzzled as to who it is.

Atreus:Hello?

The woman instinctively pulls out the sword she has and holds it in front of them, furious and ready for battle. But when she sees that those who came have no wild intentions, she puts her sword inside.
She is quite a tall, very strong, beautiful and charming woman, wearing clothes made of furs, with a blouse and furs on her body without wearing pants, with dark skin, red fire-like curly hair, red tattoos like the markings of a wolf on her face and golden charming lovely eyes. It is impressive that she is full of marks and scars, as there is a gash mark that crosses her face from one side to the other.
The woman, despite the strength she shows in body and soul, seems to hide great pain through her golden eyes.

Atreus:H-hi... uh-uh...

The woman then looks at Berenice, specifically her face and her blue tattoos, which look familiar to her.

Woman:You have her tattoos...

The woman looks carefully at the two children and they both begin to look more familiar to her... like an lost piece of her past...

Woman:Who are you?

And then Kratos approaches the woman and the two recognize each other. This woman is Lyra, Faye's old friend.

Kratos:Lyra.

Lyra looks at Kratos and gets surprised to see him again after so many years, almost 20 years. She remembers those tattoos, that sour scowl of his.

Lyra:Kratos? But... how... did you try to find me?
Kratos:We learned that there was probably a giantess here.

Lyra then gets more surprised, and seems to have a wild and beastly mood, since Faye never remembers telling her husband that she and Lyra were giants.
