After Kratos collects the rune seals for the next nornir chest that was placed a little further away, opens it and takes another apple of Idun.

They go through the last underground tunnel of prison cells to go through, Berenice with her flute and her music opens the way for them and they proceed towards the light, through the great passage.
And before this is done, when they go outside, suddenly a black elf, with his wings sounding like the wings of a huge fly, comes and grabs the little guy, literally scoops him up in his hands and flies him to the other side where the ground separated by a space and two edges.

Atreus:No!
Kratos + Berenice:Boy!

As soon as the elf grabs the boy, Berenice screams and pulls out the ax and
her shield ready to fight. Immediately, with a powerful attack she throws her ax at the elf and weakens it with the first shot, but before she can fire a second shot at the elf directly behind her another black elf grabs and holds her father from the opposite side, which must herself to handle.

Berenice:Father!

She immediately draws her sword and attacks the other elf with flames, which also briefly weakens but on the other hand the other elf already flies away carrying the boy.
Terrified and not knowing what to do, Berenice now faces a third elf, who with his trident attacks directly towards her and her father.
She takes out her shield and blocks the enemy, with the new ability, the longer she has the shield out, to create waves of counterattacks at the enemy.
Again, three elves is too much for her even if she tries with both of her weapons to deal with them.

She should have given up. She should have backed off or let her father do the hard work. She should back off. But no. She won't do it. That would be cowardice, passivity and irresponsibility. This is not what her mother would do or want. She wouldn't choose that either.

So, she gathers all her strength in her hands and endurance in her body and with a scream she attacks both the one and the other elf next to her, with speed, skill and determination to save both her father and her brother. Each shot gets powerful from her hands to the weapons and magic and it cripples the elves, as well as the ax with the yellow lights and gusts of wind, but also the flames of the sword overwhelm them.
And yet she doesn't give up. She strikes again and again until she tears them apart. She also parries with her shield if needed. She stops and kills them, both together without the help of her father.

Atreus:That's it Berrie!

She destroyed them herself and no one helped her. Of course, when Kratos sees his daughter succeeding in this, he is deeply proud and sure that she finally seems ready for survival, for war and for battle. But that was not enough to save the little one. Kratos in this position throws his ax at the elf that had grabbed the boy and when he succeeds it also falls, together with the boy at the other end of the opposite pole.

After all of this Kratos himself got so enraged and his blood boiled so much that he activated his Spartan Rage...
Yes, that one that terrifies Berenice. The one that expresses the ultimate meaning of violence and the darkness in the girl's soul. Her worst nightmare and the reminder of the sin that made her feel like a monster. Which causes her to lose control of her weapons and they fall to the ground as she looks at her father with wide eyes and a gaping mouth. She doesn't even control her legs this time as she watches her father jump to the ground and the influence of his rage kill the elves, which she did when she kicked that stranger. This power that has passed into her blood is capable of hitting three enemies at once with extreme force.

Maybe she was having another panic attack the first time she remembered but now is not time to panic. She can no longer let the past haunt her. She grabs her weapons and prepares to fight again...
Now her brother is in danger and her father, though with the power of rage she fears, is in control. And she herself cannot reach the opposite side where the boy is as the distance is quite long. The other elves are already threatening the boy.
