George was tired, he had been speaking to people all day and had no breaks. His social battery was completely drained and he didn't have the energy to talk to anyone, with the exception of Dream, of course. Dream was like his charger, a conversation or a hug from him was refreshing, it gave him energy.
George walked down the hallway and stopped when he got to Dream's room, he could hear he was watching football on his tv. He lightly knocked on his door and waited for Dream to open the door, which he did after a few seconds went by.
"George, oh, are you okay? You look tired."
"I've been talking to people all day, I'm so tired."
"You can lay with me if you want, I'm just watching football but you can put something else on if you want." Dream put an arm around him as he walked over to the bed. George liked Dream's bed a lot more than his own one, maybe it was because it smelt like him or maybe because 90% of the time he was in Dream's bed Dream was with him, but he liked it.
"What do you want to watch, George?" Dream asked, holding the remote up in the air. George shrugged his shoulders and closed his eyes, laying his head on Dream's shoulder.
"Do you wanna talk about it or are you too tired?"
"I'm tired and if I don't do more meetings then it'll just- I'm sorry for stressing, I'm just worried."
"That's okay, here-" Dream pulled the blankets off himself and patted a spot in-between his legs for George to sit down. A smile formed on George's face as he sat up and quickly sat back down where Dream had patted. Dream wrapped his arms around his torso and laid him down on his chest.
"See, there's nothing to worry about. You're here with me." Dream rubbed his thumb around in circles on George's hand while he turned the TV down with his other hand so George could get some sleep.
"Dream?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too, George." Dream said, nearly squealing at the end of his sentence, George had never said that to him before. He had said it over text but it meant so much more hearing it come out of his mouth. George rolled over so his chest was pressed against Dream's chest, their faces inches away from each other.
"I love you." He repeated, only this time he said it looking directly into his eyes, giving it even more meaning that Dream thought it could give.
"I love you too." Dream glanced at his lips for a split second, looking back up at his eyes. George did the same, but didn't look away from his lips. If they wasn't in their current position, George would have never leaned in, but he closed his eyes and gently pressed his lips against Dream's lips. Dream was frozen at first, but cupped his face and pulled him in deeper. It wasn't a lustful kiss, more of a gentle loving one. George knew Dream loved him, he said it all the time but romantically he wasn't sure, this kiss had solved all his problems with that.
