dream and george don't know eachother, they're going on a ride on their own and get paired together. dream is scared of rollercoasters, george isn't.
Dream had always been scared of rollercoasters, he hated the feeling in his stomach when the cart went down at rapid speeds, or even just being high up, he hated it all. Though, sometimes you had to face your fear and that's what Dream was currently waiting to do, as he was next in line to go on the ride.
"Are you going on by yourself?" The employee asked as he pointed to a few seats for a group of other people.
"Yeah." Dream wished he went with someone else now as he realized he would have to sit next to someone he didn't know.
"Okay, you'll be seated next to him over there." The employee pointed over to a seat and started talking to someone else behind Dream.
Dream nodded and looked over to the boy he was supposed to be sitting next to. He had fluffy brunette hair that was probably messed up from previously going on other rides, and he also had brown eyes that were examining the surrounding areas. Dream put all his belongings on the floor by the exit and sat down next to George.
Dream was too nervous to say anything, mainly because he was focusing on what could go wrong and how he even ended up in this situation, but clearly the brunette boy wasn't nervous at all.
"Are you okay, you seem nervous?" The brunette asked as Dream nervously tugged at the cuffs of his sleeves. The brunette looked at him softly, it almost calmed Dream but all he could think of is the ride and how scary it was.
"I'm terrified." He mumbled, looking everywhere but the brunettes face. He could tell Dream was nervous from the beginning, he didn't even seem like he wanted to get on the ride as he walked over.
"Have you been on this one before?" The brunette asked knowing he most definitely hadn't been on it just by the way he was acting, it seemed like he had only ever gone on small rides to be honest.
"No, it's my first time actually going on a ride like this. Normally I don't go on fast rides like this because I hate them." It was just as the brunette expected, but he felt extremely bad as he looked so nervous.
"What made you go on this one? It's the scariest and tallest one out of all of them." He asked, trying to distract Dream from the fact they were soon going to start the ride.
"I wanted to overcome my fear but I don't think I'll be able to do this." Dream said, lifting his arms up as the worker checked all the restraints and buckles. The brunette did the same and looked at Dream once again, who was checking the restraints himself to double check.
"It's okay, you'll be fine, I promise." He leaned forward as much as he could and looked at Dream with a soft smile to try and make him feel a little better. Clearly, it wasn't working as Dream was looking around for a nearby employee to most likely get off.
"Is it too late to get off?" Dream said, sounding extremely panicked. The brunette still didn't know what to do so he tried to think of a way to maybe comfort him a little more as he was shaking like crazy.
"You can hold my hand if you want." He said as the speakers blared out a countdown from ten. Dream looked around to see if anyone had gotten off, but everyone seemed excited, and Dream really didn't want to be that one guy that held everyone up, besides, he would feel embarrassed. As the ride slowly started moving, Dream fumbled around trying to hold his hand in a panic.
"What's your name?!" The brunette yelled to try and distract Dream from the height. Dream gently squeezed his hand as he opened his eyes and looked around.
