Dream hated George, he had no reason to hate George at all but whenever he saw the way the brunette confidently walked down the hallways, or how George smirked at him knowing he was just shit-talking him, or even the way all the girls and boys had a crush on him, it drove him crazy. It drove him crazy because he didn't exactly know why he hated George but he did, and no matter how much he tried to blame it on the little things George did, he couldn't.
There was not a single clue for Dream as to why he hated this boy so much. He hoped he would find out why he hated him so much when their lockers were assigned next to each other.
"I saw you were just talking to Kassidi." Dream shut his locker door and locked it, while George flicked through some pages in his books.
"I was," George said, putting some textbooks in his locker as Dream watched him. He watched him, trying to find something that pissed him off but there was nothing at all.
"Do you like her?" Dream asked. Dream wondered why he felt the need to. Out of all the ways he could've extended their conversation he just had to say that.
"Who's asking?" George looked up at him, probably wondering why Dream was even talking to him. Dream rolled his eyes at the stupidity of the question.
"Me obviously." He said as if it was obvious. George furrowed his eyebrows and shut the door of his locker. Dream took a step forward so they were closer, and looked down at him.
He tried to find something about him that made him feel this detestation, but George was too pretty for that. He had such beautiful features, Dream couldn't find any features of his that made him hate him, so maybe it was just the way he spoke.
"No, I like her as a friend, I wouldn't date her though," George explained. Dream wasn't even focusing on what George was saying at this point, he was more focused on why he didn't have a reason to hate him but he did.
"Mhm." Dream bit the corner of his lip. George scoffed, it was barely audible though as the bell had just gone and everyone was going to their classes, but Dream and George stayed put.
"Beings as it's a Q&A, can I ask you a question?" Those sarcastic little jokes, that's what Dream thought it was, but he knew it wasn't.
"Go ahead." Dream rolled his eyes, now wanting the conversation to be over and done with as it wasn't helping him find the reason he hates George. He thought it might just be the fact George was one of those people that annoyed you for no reason, but something inside of him was telling him there was more to it.
"Do you like me?" George asked, leaning his head against his locker, not even flinching when Dream slammed the door of his locker shut.
"Not everyone likes you, George. Are you usually this self-centered?" He harshly spat. George just laughed to himself, clearly finding it entertaining.
"Yeah, who else would be the center of attention?" He smirked, finding Dream's annoyance amusing. Dream wanted to push him away or walk off, but he couldn't. Nothing was stopping him, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it.
"You're insufferable." Dream scoffed and rolled his eyes. George rolled his eyes back at him obnoxiously, before shrugging his shoulders. Dream found himself getting annoyed at the fact George was doing this. He wanted to find a reason as to why he hated him but there was well and truly nothing he could blame it on.
"You still didn't answer my question." George pointed it out. Dream thought it was a very stupid question because he made it evident he didn't like George, at least he tried to.
"No, I hate you." Dream spat once again. George bit at the inside of his lip and looked around. Dream watched George's teeth pinch at his bottom lip, and Dream tensed up.
