Dream and George weren't exactly enemies. They were more, semi friends but constantly got annoyed with eachother in a jokey way.

"What're you doing?" Dream asked, placing his drink down on the coffee table while he watched George try to organise everything he put on the couch.

"Sleeping on the couch." George groaned, as if it was obvious. Dream looked at him, confused and shrugged his shoulders as he took a sip of his water.

"Why?" He asked, noticing George was getting more and more annoyed with how he couldn't get comfortable.

"I can't sleep." He sighed and threw himself down on the couch and looked at Dream, who was smirking, finding the situation amusing.

"Why?" Dream repeated, realizing it was probably about to annoy George.

"My mattress is uncomfortable." He groaned once again, tossing himself side to side while trying to get comfortable.

"Why?" Dream asked. George grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at Dream, who threw the pillow back at him. Dream laughed and threw the pillow at George.

"Dream, piss off." George scoffed and pulled his blankets over him while facing the opposite way. Dream shrugged his shoulders and went to walk off, but just as he reached the stairs he stopped.

He had an idea, he knew it probably wasn't a smart one, but considering what he had been feeling recently he decided to give it a go. He walked back over to the couch, wondering if this was a good idea or not.

"Well, I can't imagine the couch being anymore comfortable." Dream leaned over the backrest and looked down at George, who rolled over onto his back so he could look up at Dream.

"What?" George threw the blankets off himself and onto his lap.

"You can sleep in my bed." Dream looked up and around, avoiding eye contact.

"What?"

"You can sleep in my bed if you'd like? It's more comfortable." Dream said. George sat up and looked around, possibly wondering if it was a prank of something. George looked at Dream and frowned, seeming like he was annoyed.

"Are you being serious?"

"Well, if you stick to your side of the bed." Dream said, grabbing George's blankets, handing them to him. George scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"That's if you don't try to cuddle up to me." George scoffed once again and followed Dream into his bedroom. George watched Dream get in bed and pat a spot next to him, which only made George scoff even more than he already had.

George slowly walked over to the bed and sat down. He didn't say much after that, he just got under the blankets and faced the other way, curled into a ball. It was silent for a moment, the only sound was some light breathing and the rain. It was near the end of January so it was freezing cold, and Dream was practically shivering, despite being under the blankets.

"I'm cold." Dream sighed, pulling more of the blankets over himself, unintentionally taking some off George, who kicked him before pulling them back over himself.

"Get warm then." George mumbled, going back to sleep. Dream looked around the room to see if he had any spare blankets. He unfortunately didn't, so he resorted to something that could either go really well, or terribly.

"Fine." Dream muttered, rolling over so he was spooning George. He was a little worried at first, he had flirted jokingly a few times before but this was a whole other level.

"Well if you stick to your own side of the bed." George mocked what Dream previously said. Despite mocking his previous statement, he still scooted back, pressing his back against Dream's chest.

"That's if you don't try to cuddle up to me." Dream mocked back. He could practically hear George roll his eyes because of how his head moved.

"I don't even care anymore." George grabbed Dream's arm and pulled it over him, so Dream was now hugging him. Dream didn't expect that at all, but after actually processing how close they were, he closed his eyes and burried the lower part of his face in George's messy hair.

"I'm too warm." Dream lied, he really wanted to tease George in some way, and that's exactly what he was going to do.

"Take some blankets off then." George wanted Dream to keep hugging him, it was obvious to Dream at this point because George leaned into Dream's chest even more, but George also wanted to make it obvious that he liked it.

"Or I could stop hugging you." He taunted, making George let out another audible scoff. George could practically hear Dream's smile, so he decided to annoy him back.

"No, you wouldn't." George taunted back, knowing he wouldn't.

"I would." Dream said, sounding like he most definitely wasn't going to let go.

"Do it." George said. He waited for Dream to roll over and face to other way, but to his suprise, Dream just pulled him closer. He tangled his legs with George's, hugged him and closed his eyes.

"Can't, too comfortable." Dream mumbled, nuzzling his face down into the crook of George's neck.
