It was one of their late night calls, exactly two months before they would finally be together, and they were on face time to each other. George was rambling on about how strange it was seeing Dream do basic day-to-day activities, but Dream's mind was elsewhere. He decided he needed to tell George right then and there, so he confessed. He didn't want to wait until he met up with George as it would be awkward, but it didn't matter because George ended up confessing too.

They had finally met up and they couldn't stop touching each other, of course they were both too scared to make the first move on kissing, but they couldn't stop making such unnecessary touches. Dream's hand was practically glued to George's waist and George wouldn't stop holding onto his arm as he got given a tour around the house.
"So, are you off to bed?" Dream stood by George's bedroom door as George opened it to walk in. It looked empty as George hadn't bothered unpacking yet as he was too busy celebrating his arrival with his best friend and boyfriend.
"I guess so, I'm a bit jet lagged." He shrugged as he stood by the doorframe with his hands fidgeting.
"That's fine, we can do more stuff tomorrow. We did a lot of stuff in the little time we had." He smiled as he pulled George into a hug. George took a step forward and hugged him as tight as he could.
"Goodnight, George, I love you." He whispered in his ear as George continued hugging him. It was like they were both terrified to let go, the fear of them meeting up being a dream was mutual, so it ended up being a very long hug.
"Goodnight, Dream, I love you too." George unfortunately pulled away and smiled as he took a step back to enter his room. He waved goodbye as he shut the bedroom door before sitting on his bed.
The brunette pulled the blankets over his lap and looked around at the slightly messy room. It was only his unpacked belongings that made it look messy, but Dream did a very good job of setting his room up.
He smiled at the memory of Dream awkwardly carrying his phone around while hanging things up so George could rate how it looked, but he stopped thinking about that as it was when he was in London and he also got upset on that call because he wasn't there to help Dream decorate.
All these thoughts just lead George to the realization he wouldn't be able to sleep as he didn't want the day to end. He was so scared the next day he would wake up and he would be back in London. He didn't want to be away from Dream now that there was no longer an ocean separating them, and it only made him not see as to why he should let a wall separate them now.
Of course, they were dating so that brought some sort of comfort. He didn't know what kind of comfort it brought him, but he had a feeling it was because it was the fact it somewhat made them closer.
He continued to toss and turn to try and get the most random thoughts out of his head but he couldn't. The terrible thought of not waking up at his home was starting to bother him more and more. He didn't know what to do, he just sat up and scoffed wondering if there was anything he could do to speed up the process of going to sleep.
He knew one thing but he was quite nervous.
There wasn't any other options though so he got up and walked out of his room with a pillow under his arm and his phone. He debated about going to sleep on the couch, but he knew that wouldn't help it would just be uncomfortable.
So, he gently knocked on Dream's door before opening it. He stood in the doorway and looked around to let his eyes adjust to the lights, that were dimmed a bit. Dream looked up from his phone and his look softened immediately.
"Woah, woah- Are you okay?" Dream moved the blankets off himself and turned his phone off as George stood awkwardly by the doorframe. He looked around and shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm fine, I just can't sleep." He said, fidgeting with the buttons on his pillowcase. The brunette continued to avoid eye contact as Dream didn't look away.
"Why, what's wrong?" George shrugged his shoulders once again before taking a seat next to Dream, who's arm practically teleported around George to comfort him.
"I'm just worried I'm gonna wake up and I won't be here." Dream turned even more and wrapped his arms around him to hug him properly, George immediate hugging back. The grasp George had during the hug made it strongly evident that he never wanted to let go.
"I promise you'll still be here with me." Dream smiled as he went to pull away but George just kept on hugging him. He took a moment to acknowledge the fact George had been alone for quite some time so it must be amazing to pull someone into a hug like he was, especially the fact it was his boyfriend.
"Can I stay in your room tonight? If that's like weird or something then I'm sorry I-" George was cut off by Dream.
"We are boyfriends, George. So, it's not weird or anything it's just... unusual I guess." He laughed as he moved the duvet away so George could get in next to him. George shuffled closer to Dream and looked dat him with his eyebrows furrowed to display his confusion.
"Unusual?" He repeated his words as he scooted ever so slightly closer to Dream so that their shoulders were touching.
"It's not something we've done yet." He shrugged, clearly struggling to find the right words. George kept maintaining their eye contact, he still couldn't get over the fact Dream was right in front of him, his stunning boyfriend just right next to him seemed so unreal.
"We haven't done loads of things yet." George said, eyebrows still furrowed. Dream laughed and imitated his facial expression, making George stop as he realised what he was doing.
"Like?" Dream raised an eyebrow as George scoffed and rolled his eyes, obviously feeling a bit awkward to say exactly what it was.
"Kiss." George didn't look away despite how awkward his felt, but Dream ended up smiling anyways. George let another scoff escape his lips as Dream just continued to smile.
"Are you hinting for me to kiss you?" He laughed, making George roll his eyes. Dream sat up properly and crossed his legs, George did the same once he realised what could possibly happen within the next few seconds.
"Maybe yes, maybe no." He shrugged, acting oblivious while he looked around the room. Dream rolled his eyes and gently brought a hand up to George's jawline to make him look at him. They both took a moment to just take in the fact they could touch each other, they could physically put their hands on each other with nothing stopping them.
It felt like electricity, it felt like a magnetic force was just pulling Dream's hand to George's body all the time. Not that George was going to complain as he loved the feel of Dream's hands being on him, he felt safe, like his touch was home.
"I liked the first one." Dream smiled as George put a hand on top of Dream's, that continued to caress the side of his face. They both smiled at each other before glancing at each other's lips, that was all it took for them to connect.

i actually didn't know where i was going with this, but i needed to get something posted today.
i know you guys want smut but i do kinda wanna keep this oneshot book not marked as mature, especially as most of this fic is fluff so i wouldn't wanna mark the whole thing as mature when it's only one chapter of smut. i'll do an enemies to lovers chapter with a bit of spiciness, after that will be a christmas themed one and maybe a bonus one if you guys leave a recommendation. then ill finish this oneshot fic :((
i might be slow with the next chapters because im trying to get a good start on my next fic !!
