this is very much outside of my comfort zone and what i usually write so i hope you enjoy :))

Dream felt more confused than ever. He and George were close, he had always known that and he always knew that they would be more touchy with each other due to the fact an ocean had separated them for many years. It was inevitable that they wouldn't be touchy with each other, both terrified they would wake up an ocean apart again, yet too shy to admit it.

These little touches on the waist one night turned into something more, unexpectedly it was a kiss. It was nothing more than a make-out session on Dream's bed. The kiss felt addicting, like he needed more but he couldn't possibly get more due to the fact their tongues were already lapping over one another. Unfortunately, George stayed pretty distant afterward, but he always came back for more after a few days,

It was fine for the first three days, but afterward, it became more of something Dream found to be him being led on.

It was like a cycle. They'd make out for a while, and the second they'd pull away George would make up some excuse to leave, to which he would then avoid Dream for about a week. After a while of George ignoring Dream, he'd spend a little too long in his room and it'd end up in yet another make-out session, to where the cycle repeated itself.

Dream was tired of it, he wanted an explanation from George as to why he was taunting him like this. They hadn't established what their relationship was, so Dream just currently presumed it was friends, possibly friends with benefits but he didn't want to label it without being 100% sure of it.

He had two plans, the first one was to not kiss George back. He didn't know why he thought of this, he didn't even know what good it would do but he hoped it would choke a confession out of George or something. The second plan seemed more reasonable, he'd kiss George back like usual and just as George makes up an excuse, he'd stop him and try to talk.

He knew what George's excuse would be today, it would be he needed to edit. He could predict what George would do as a seer would, so he finished editing George's video for him so he didn't have an excuse to avoid what would happen after the kiss. It was just a waiting game for George to stroll into his bedroom, and strike up a conversation before initiating a kiss.

The following day went just as Dream expected, George had strolled into his room and sat down next to him on the bed. Dream turned his phone off, looking up at George, who looked like he was finding words to say. Clearly, this was a last-minute decision of George's as he usually came in with a question or statement prepared.

"What're you doing?" Asked George, leaning over to see what was on his nightstand as he kept leaning over to grab stuff from there. Dream picked up a purple box, showing some caramel chocolates.

"Watching TV, would you like some caramel chocolates?" Dream shook the box with one hand as he stared at the TV, his head propped up by a cluster of pillows. George nodded and walked over to the bed, climbing over the blankets so he could plop himself down right next to Dream. "There's some mint ones there, I'm not sure if you'd like them or not though." The position they were in was uncalled for, it was the exact meaning of them being too close. George was practically on Dream's thigh, yet Dream's bed was a king size so there was no need for him to be that close, but they always felt compelled to be touching each other in some way.

"I might not, but I'll give it a try anyway." George leaned over Dream, their torsos pressing together as George opened the draw to get the others. This was another thing, it would've been easier for George to ask Dream to get them, but he didn't, maybe Dream was overthinking it but it was like they both found a reason to touch each other all the time.
