That night as I got changed I couldn't help but listen into Liv and Ellie talking about her conversation with Tom.
"How was your chat with Tom, are you attracted to him?"
"He's definitely attractive and had quite good chat. He's quite calm as well which is nice, someone I would just gravitate towards."
"He is."
After we all went down and did the toast for the evening, I decided now was the right time to tell Will everything alone.
"How are you doing?" He asked as we took a seat around the firepit. "I'm good, I've just got a lot of things going round in my head right now."
"Do you want to let me in on that?"
"I want to be honest with you because I've loved getting to know you and I honestly really did want to give you a chance but as the days have gone on I just don't quite feel that spark there. I'm really sorry."
"You don't need to be sorry, come here." It felt so nice to be able to go and cuddle him now that he knew how I was feeling. "You've got to be here for yourself and if you're not feeling it then you've got to do this."
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm not going to lie I did really think we had a spark there at the start but I could see by the end we were growing further and further apart. I'm not just saying this but I'm happy to be just your best friend."
"I'd really like that."
"Can I ask you though, was there someone else in here? It's completely fine because you were always honest about getting to know others but maybe I can help. It's just none of the boys have mentioned anything concrete when we're together."
"Please don't tell anyone but I've been getting to know Tom but then since last night and the whole recoupling speech I don't know anymore."
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine honestly. It's all so complicated right now and I know I only did it to myself but I feel like I'm almost allowing myself to be pushed to the side."
"You said it yourself you need to be selfish in here, you know as well as I do that this will only cause more drama with the girls but they'll get over it."
"I don't want drama though."
"I guess you need to weigh up whether the opportunity to get to know Tom is worth that with the girls. It's up to you to make that decision."
"I know."
Kai interrupted our chat. "I've got a text. Islanders, the hideaway retreat is open tonight. Please choose a lucky couple to spend a luxury night away. #nightawaywithbae."
"Tanya and Shaq!"
Watching them walk off together did make me quite jealous but I was also so happy for them. Although I wasn't sure yet how far they would go I'm glad they both seemed happy right now.
