It felt weird getting ready for the final and then coming back basically to find the place you'd been living in had been invaded by a massive group of people. It was nice to watch over the events of yesterday and relive the speeches all again but then we had to get down to the action of the final.
"It has been a truly incredible journey the islanders have been on in there." Maya presented. "Full of lingering looks, covert cuddles and secret snogs - and that was just Valentina and Tom."
I mean true.
"I'm only joking I love you both. This series has been epic and it wouldn't have been half of what it was without our islanders." She said to the crowd before making her way over to us at the firepit. "How are you all feeling?"
"Good."
"Lets start with you Val and Tom, you told each other you were in love in those speeches. How did it feel?"
"Honestly best feeling in the world being in love with this one."
"Well you are punching just a little bit." I can't believe Maya Jama has just complimented little old me. "Valentina, how did it feel to hear that from Tom."
"Amazing, I can't think of a better way to end our time in here than with that."
"Tanya and Shaq you are boyfriend and girlfriend. Did you expect it from the beginning?"
"We had a lot of ups and downs but she was always the girl for me, it was always coming." Shaq said.
"He has been in love from the start. Kai and Sanam you met at Casa Amor, what was it that made her catch your eye?"
"First her eyes and then it was everything else. I can't keep my hands off her."
"Sanam did you always know it was Kai?"
"I always knew it was Kai. He was always my number one."
"Everything is so lovey over here. Ron and Lana this is a bit crazy isn't it being in the final. Ron did you know you were gonna fall head over a heels for someone in the villa?"
"Not a chance, I didn't know you were bringing girls like Lana in."
"Lana did you ever think you would meet someone like Ron?"
"I never expected it but it's mad that I'm leaving with someone I love."
We then got to watch a compilation of moments from the villa before we were told to make our way into positions for the fourth place reveal.
"Absolute heart breakers the lot of them but that's it the decisions have been made. Ron and Lana, Kai and Sanam, Tom and Valentina, Shaq and Tanya. I can now reveal the couple in fourth place is.... Tanya and Shaq."
Wow, I feel like every decision in this final is probably really close and I was probably expecting to be in that fourth position so I was a bit shocked. Like we're in the top three couples.
