"You must now choose one boy and one girl from the remaining vulnerable couples to leave tonight. Please go and take a seat to deliberate your decision."
I don't think it's ever been as tense in here as it was right now. You almost didn't know where to look as we all just stood in silence waiting for their return. I couldn't concentrate on anything after everything that had happened tonight and then this, either Tom and I were likely to lose one of our best friends tonight. Then on top of that you had the fact that even though he had been hugging me throughout, I hadn't touched him once.
"Olivia and Maxwell have you reached your decision?" Maya asked once they returned.
"Yeah."
"Please give your reasons why you have chosen this girl and this boy to be dumped tonight."
"This has been a really difficult decision for the both of us." Olivia started. "Do you keep a couple in that could potentially rebuild a flame? Do you keep a boy and a girl who haven't had much time in here? It's been very difficult to make this decision. There's so many options we could have gone for."
"Olivia and Maxwell please reveal the girl and boy you have decided to dump from the island tonight."
"Keanan and Claudia."
"Olivia and Maxwell, Claudia and Keanan you have been dumped from the island. Please say your goodbyes. The rest of you, I will see you soon. Bye."
My first point of call was the try and reach Claudia the quickest, pulling her into a hug as I tried to hold the tears in. "I'm going to miss you so much." I whispered in her ear. "I'm sorry you didn't get the full chance to find someone."
"I'm happy, I've met all you amazing people. I've had the time of my life."
"I just want you to be happy."
"I will be, as long as you go and speak to Tom. Tonight before you go to bed, speak to him. I honestly don't think he meant it in that way if he even said it."
"I will." I gave her that one last promise before I moved over to Keanan, out of all the couples that could have left I think they're one of the ones that would impact me the most in terms of a pair leaving. "You'll have to invite me to come and watch you sometime."
"As soon as you're out of here I'll get you some tickets. I'm going to miss annoying you."
"I'll miss you too."
I didn't exactly feel it was necessary to say goodbye to Olivia and Maxwell, simply smiling at the both of them as we all got into a circle.
"I just want to say thank you to you all for being a big part of my journey in here. My sisters, I'm gonna miss you so much." Olivia told us. "I know you'll miss me telling you straight how it is but I will never change."
