Once Jessie had come down and we'd all got the chance to congratulate her and Will on his little speech, Tom, Casey and I made our way over to the day beds. Tonight had been especially hard to keep away from him, I wanted to not feel anything but I could feel the love in the air tonight and the only person I can associate with that in here is Tom.
"Kai has been over there for hours talking to Sanam." He pointed over to the couple who were lying together on one of the sofas.
"Science, he's talking about biology."
"What did he teach again? PE and..." I asked.
"Biology." Casey confirmed.
"He's so smart, like proper smart." Tom said.
"I could do with a little recap, maybe like plant biology. I would say I'm ok with the animals."
"I would hope so." Tom couldn't help but laugh and instinctively pulled me so I was curled up into his side.
"I've got a text." Casey shouted. "Islanders, the hideaway retreat is open tonight. Please chose a lucky couple to spend a romantic night together #justhetwoofus #timetoplay."
"RON and LANA!!"
We of course all helped them get ready, Lana opting to get changed in the hideaway before coming back out into the garden. Casey had gone off to speak to Claudia and that left Tom and I on the bed, once again being pulled into his side.
"How are you feeling tonight? A lot's happened." He asked me, gently twirling strands of my hair around his fingers.
"Good, I feel like progress has been made. We're not perfect but I guess no-one is in here and as much as you've still got work to do. I feel like, I'm not going to forget about the whole situation but I'm willing to move forward now. I swear though if there were more kisses or something else happened then I'll drop it." I told him. That was the one thing about all of this is, I hated when you forgive someone but you've not actually forgiven them and you continue to bring it up in arguments. I've made peace with the situation now and as long as it was just that then I have to just drop it now.
"There wasn't." He promised. "I've told you everything and I just want us to move forward now."
"So do I." I agreed with him. "Do you want to come back in the bed tonight? No cuddling but if you'd like..."
"I'd love to. Thank you so much and I promise I know the heard work only starts now."
"I know you do."
.....
I walked into the dressing room that night and Olivia was in there ranting to Jessie about something that had happened in her conversation with Kai.
"The comments he said about me when he was like you know 'Casa made me realise you're not genuine' you're fake'. I just wanted an apology really and he was like 'absolutely not'."
