"Come on guys, only one game!"
I was currently trying to convince the members to play a game of soccer with me.
"We could play at the park." I urged.
"I guess, I'll play with you." Owen agreed
Leroy quickly agreed once Owen spoke up.
"I'll play."
"Sure, I guess it would be a change, the movie I'm watching isn't even scary anyway." Junsu chimed in.
One by one, the members agreed. So we changed into more active clothing and I grabbed a soccer ball and we headed outside to the nearest park.
There weren't any soccer nets but we grabbed some rocks and dead branches and set them up to create two temporary nets. The weather outside wasn't the nicest I admit. The air was damp and not long after we got to the park, it starting very lightly raining. Almost more of a mist than a rain. It was the beginning of spring but the snow had melted early so the grass had been able to start growing.
We divided ourselves into two teams, Junsu, Zeke and I on one team and Siwoo, Leroy and Owen on another. Zeke and Owen decided to be the goalies.
Junsu, Zeke and I were a perfect team. We scored three goals back to back before Leroy managed to get the ball in the net. Although their team was clearly losing, they seemed to be having lots of fun. Junsu on the other hand was having a blast. The more we were winning, the more excited he got. It was actually quite funny. He was really competitive and I had forgotten that.
"Yes!" Junsu practically yelled as he scored another goal.
"Give us a break Junsu!" Leroy laughed
After playing for a little longer, we convinced Junsu to be the goalie instead, which made our teams much more equal. After that, it was five to four.
An hour or so later, we sat down in the wet grass. The rain had picked up a little and now our hair and clothes were damp. But none of us really cared, we were having fun.
"How about we go back and have some hot soup and tea?" Our leader suggested
"I like that idea." Siwoo agreed
"Yeah, sounds great!"
We walked back to the apartment with smiles on our faces.
"I could have joined a professional soccer team!" Junsu exclaimed
"We get it, you're fast. Maybe it's because you're small." Owen spoke
"I'm not that small!"
"Being small isn't a bad thing." I stated.
"Exactly." Owen agreed.
Arriving back home we all gathered in the kitchen. Zeke and Junsu went right to making soup while Siwoo put the kettle on for tea.
"What kind of tea should I make?" He asked
"Any kind you want to make, since you are the one making it." Leroy replied.
"Okay then."
We ate lunch and rested for some time. Junsu showed Leroy and I the new video game he had started playing. We both tried playing it for a moment and Leroy seemed to like it a lot but I got bored of it fast.
I decided to go to the practice rooms early. Zeke was already there, he had left right after lunch.
I grabbed a coat and headed outside of the apartment and then I took the stairs down to where the practice room was.
Opening the door, the music was blaring with some upbeat english song I hadn't heard yet. Zeke was dancing along to it with a lot of energy.
He flowed so well with the beat of the music and I couldn't help but stare at him. He was crazy talented. No wonder he was the main dancer.
After some time, he noticed me watching and he gave me a grin. It lit up his whole face and I couldn't help but smile back.
"Practicing something new? I don't recognize the moves or the song." I asked, curious.
"That's right, it's something new. I'm planing on recording it and posting it online, on the new account we created the other day. It's about time we start giving our fans continuous content."
"Always thinking like a leader."
He laughed softly.
"I guess it's partly that, but also, we wouldn't be where we are without our fans and I constantly feel like we haven't thanked them enough."
"We posted four videos thanking them in the past five months. But I do get what you mean. We are all forever grateful towards them." I said.
"If you're okay with taking a break, could you help me with the choreography of our group song? I keep making the same mistakes and it's frustrating me."
"Of course, I'm always happy to help."
"Same part as before, right?" He clarified
I laughed awkwardly.
"You know it."
After Zeke gave me a few tips and I practiced it some more, I finally started to get it right.
"Hey! Zeul's finally got it!" Owen exclaimed, walking into the room. He was followed by the rest of the members who seemed just as happy.
I laughed.
"Yeah, it's finally feeling right."
We started from the beginning of the song now, and all together this time.
