So this chapter is a little long...
Warning: Mentions of rape
The next day, we arrived early to the stadium to get ready. The ceo and our manager had both taken out their anger on us with their fists so it took a while for the makeup artists to hide all the bruises that had formed. We were all wearing long sleeve shirts and track pants.
Reporters and Fearless were arriving by the time we were doing our mic checks.
I had tried not to look at any of the hashtags online but there were a few by the names of "CMOLareliars" and "CEOPaekSuminshouldnothavetodealwiththis"
I saw one that made me feel a little better although I new the hashtag wouldn't last long."CMOLdontworryFearlessbelievesyou"
We walked onto the stage and were immediately bombarded by the reporters flashing their cameras, taking as many pictures as possible.
I took a step back, feeling scared. Soon, everyone would hate us, even Fearless.
Once the reporters quieted down, our leader began to speak.
"We are here to apologize sincerely for yesterday. CEO Paek Sumin has never hurt any of us in any way and we should not of lied about something so serious, it was very wrong of us."
"If that's the case, why did you say what you said yesterday?" Someone asked.
"We were getting less publicity and we wanted money from the ceo since we didn't think he'd been paying us enough... but we decided this was going too far and wasn't right."
"So then where is your proof that he isn't abusing you and just told you to say this?" Another reporter asked.
The members and I all took off our shirts to show that we didn't have bruises.
Our manager had thought of everything hadn't he, the makeup perfectly covered every single bruise.
"So, you were falsely accusing your ceo for money and popularity?"
The members and I all nodded.
"Yes."
We all bowed in apology.
The fans became really angry. I noticed some people had already come here holding signs.
"Sue CMOL."
"What the heck CMOL."
Some people in the audience even started chanting.
"Sue CMOL, sue CMOL, sue CMOL."
I looked down, feeling uncomfortable.
I felt hurt that they'd say this to us, we had told the truth.
"Sue CMOL, sue CMOL, sue CMOL."
"Fearless still believes in you."
I looked up and noticed a couple people, girls and boys. They kept repeating "Fearless still believes in you" even though it was almost drowned out by all the angry people's chanting.
Slowly, the words "Fearless still believes in you" got a little louder and it made me feel so happy, I almost cried right there.
I noticed the ceo walk on stage and everything became really noisy again.
"CEO Paek Sumin, what do you plan to do about this issue?"
"Will you sue CMOL?"
"No, I will not sue CMOL, although, I did get a little angry at them last night. I hope they understand the severity of what they were saying."
