Halloween was in a week and the court case was still unfinished. By this point, we were all exhausted, it was very stressful. We all had to testify against the crazy fan who had the gun, and we had to testify against our manager and a bunch of other people in our company as well. In our free time, we slept, wrote songs and practiced choreography. We were healthier than we had been in years.

My phone rang, waking me from an afternoon nap.

"Hello?"

"Hey, how are you doing?" Dae Seong asked.

"Okay, I guess."

"I was wondering if you want to come to a party on Halloween night? The other members of your group are invited as well and you can take your girlfriend and whoever else wants to come."

"Oh, thanks! I'll let my group know."

"No problem, thought you guys could use some time to think about something else and just have fun."

"That was very thoughtful of you."

"Many other groups are coming, tell Junsu that his friends Zera from Fairii and Cole from TuNe are coming too and many groups from the fun day when we played soccer are coming."

"Okay, will do."

"Oh and Zeul."

"Yeah?"

"My mom was wondering if she could bring you guys some fresh baked pastries sometime this week?"

"I would never say no to pastries, that's very nice of her."

"Okay, I'll let her know."

"Dae Seong."

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Just being there, calling me."

"No problem, if you ever want to talk about anything, you know I'm just a phone call away!"

"Yeah, I know! I'll be there in a minute!" He shouted to one of his members I assumed.

"I got to go, busy schedule." He explained.

"Okay, have a nice day."

"Thanks, you too."

He hung up the phone.

I walked over to where the members were watching tv. It was some cartoon that Siwoo had wanted to watch.

"Guys, Dae Seong invited us to a Halloween party."

"Oh really? Awesome!"

"That was nice of him!"

"Yay!"

I smiled. I liked seeing them happy. After all we had been through, we deserved to be happy. I hoped the Ceo would be put in jail soon.

Two days later Dae Seong showed up with his mom. His mom had similar features as him and was extremely kind. She joked a lot about little things and stayed for a bit.

Dae Seong was busy so he dropped off our invitations, one for each member, and then briefly explained the details before leaving.

We could bring whoever we wanted and they did not need an invitation just as long as we were there. The invitations were used so paparazzi or crazy fans would not show up. It was a closed event only for the idols who were invited and their friends.

I invited Mi Kyung and told her she could bring her friend and she offered to drive us there, it would be safer than taking a taxi and less awkward than asking a family member to drive us.
