On Christmas Eve, we all sat at the kitchen table enjoying a meal Junsu and Siwoo made. The food tasted delicious. We now had a month or so of break because the ceo went to some tropical country and our manager was with his family. We were all super relieved. Our bruises were healing now and my leg had gotten a lot better.

"You guys are going to love what I bought you!" Owen exclaimed.

I smiled.

"Nah, you'll love my gifts more!" Junsu said.

"You don't even know what I bought!"

"Yes I do, you told me, remember?"

"Oh."

The intense silence was coming again. It happened often, every time we didn't know what to talk about, and it made me think of what has been going on this past year. I needed to distract myself.

"Great job on the food." I said.

"Thanks." Junsu and Siwoo replied.

Leroy got up from the table and went to do the dishes. I got up and started clearing the dishes that were on the table. The other members started helping. When we were all done cleaning up the kitchen and Leroy was done the dishes, we sat close to the Christmas tree with hot chocolate that Zeke had made. My stomach was doing well after eating such a big meal and we had made sure that Leroy had eaten enough of the food on his plate to make us satisfied. It was the Christmas holidays, I wasn't going to worry about what the ceo would think.

"I like the Christmas tree ornament you added this year Siwoo." Junsu said

"What? Oh that one."

Siwoo gave a small smile when he realized what Junsu was talking about. It was an ornament in the shape of a gingerbread cookie with a picture of all of us from last years Christmas. Siwoo went back to writing in his journal.

"Let's play a game of cards." Leroy announced.

"Okay, oldy." Junsu joked.

"I'm only 22!"

I laughed.

"Does that mean I'm old, Junsu?" I asked.

"No... hyung?"

"You totally think I'm old!"

"No! I didn't say anything about that"

"But i'm only a year younger then Leroy." I complained.

"Right, you're old then!" Junsu said giggling.

"Guys let's play cards now." Siwoo anounced.

The other members agreed and Siwoo put his journal down beside him.

"How about golf?" Zeke suggested.

"Oh, I can't exactly remember how to play, can you remind me?" Owen asked.

"Yup."

"Okay, everyone is dealt six cards..." Hong Gi, our leader started to explain while he dealt the cards.

"The cards are face down with all six cards placed on the table. You put three on the table and then three below them on the table, none of the cards are on top of another. Then, you need to flip two cards over so you can see what they are. The goal is to have the least amount of points."

"Oh! I remember now. A king is zero and you can place two cards on top of each other if they are the same number and that cancels them out..."

"Great! you remember the rest?" Hong Gi asked.

"Yup!"

We started to play. At first Leroy looked like he was going to win. Out of the cards that were showing, which were three at this point, one was a two and the two others were kings. But then Junsu ended up winning.

During the game, Junsu got up and went to get the gingerbread cookies he and Siwoo made. We all ate some except Leroy.

"Thanks for letting me win!" Junsu exclaimed.

"We weren't letting you win, you're just good at the game!"

Junsu made a funny face then laughed.

"I know."

Before going to bed we gave each other goodnight hugs. It was a tradition I created and we gave hugs every single night, even when we weren't staying in the same hotel room, we would all join up in one of the rooms and hug. Personally, I loved hugs, they made me feel safe.

"Goodnight." I said before heading to the bathroom to get ready for bed. I had already put my gifts to the others under the tree.

When I was in my pyjamas, I got into my bed. I was almost asleep when someone spoke.

"I wanted all of us to forget what's been going on, even just for the holidays so we could enjoy ourselves, but it seems it's harder then I thought it would be. I can't even forget for a whole hour." Hong Gi said.

What he said made me realize. Being the leader, Zeke must really be having a hard time. I was one of the oldest and it already made me worry for the other members a lot.

"It's going to be okay Zeke." I said.

I knew I didn't convince him that is would be okay or make him feel better, and it didn't help me either.

"Having an adult conversation without me?" Siwoo anounced, coming into the room.

"You're barely an adult." I replied.

"I am an adult! I'm 19."

"Sure." I replied, too tired to argue.

I fell asleep and slept peacefully. Maybe it was just a Christmas miracle or maybe it was because we had a break and would be able to spend our days however we wanted for a little while but that night I didn't have any bad dreams.

Since it was Christmas and it's New Year's Eve, here's the next chapter! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
