We stayed at the hospital for a while. Our bruises healed, the mental scars still didn't. Memories flooded my mind with every question asked about the ceo. It was safer at the hospital then at our apartment. We learned from the news that the ceo had been arrested immediately at the venue, not long after we had left.
Truthfully, I felt relieved, but also very nervous. I didn't even want to think about how angry he was right now.
Dae Seong called me during my time at the hospital.
"Uh... hey." He said quietly.
"Hello."
He cleared his throat nervously.
"Are you, um... are you okay?"
"That's a very complicated question. I guess if I answer straightforwardly I'd say no."
"But hopefully I will be okay soon." I added.
"Do you guys need anything? If you need people to get stuff for you, JOIN and I would be happy to help you in any way possible. We are all praying for you guys."
"Um... Thanks. We don't need anything right now, our families are here. But they need to eventually go to work so I'll let you know if there is anything."
"Oh, okay."
Zera and Cole also called Junsu and Songz called us and also gave us a box of chocolates by asking a nurse to give it to us since only our families were allowed to visit us. Even Time and ViBe called.
We weren't used to this kind of attention.
On the day we left the hospital, we had to go to the company where we learned that the people who had hurt us because of the ceo were either arrested or fined and everyone else who knew but didn't help officially apologized to us.
"We are deeply sorry. We should of helped you. We knew it was happening but we didn't do anything. Your lives are far more important then having a job in a popular company."
"We should of told someone, we could of got a job somewhere else."
"What we did was wrong."
"We are so so sorry."
They all bowed.
It was very overwhelming. I recognized some of these people, they had passed me in the halls giving me an expression of pity, yet doing nothing.
I remembered talking about them to my members one day. Saying how pathetic I thought they were.
"They think giving us pitiful looks helps us?! They do nothing! They could actually do something and they don't!"
We finally arrived home. Reporters had found out where we were staying but there were police making sure we were safe and we ignored all the questions and clicking cameras.
My brother stayed by my side until I reached home and then he went to get some glasses of water.
I curled up on the couch and rested my head against the pillow.
So much had happened in such a quick amount of time.
I fell asleep for a while before being awoken to eat dinner. Our table was too small so I just ate on the couch.
The next day, people came. They said they were victim advocates. They explained that the money used for our hospital bills would be given back to us and they also listed some Counselling places nearby.
They suggested we do separate counselling since we all were dealing with the situation differently.
We agreed and decided on a place that was a twenty minute drive from our home.
