Chapter 5

Sun has risen and Drusilla groans and opens her eyes, seeing Harvey safe with her she is relieved and then remembers Jarvis and Curtis.

Out of panic, she touches his mark and feels he is safe but is now worried about Curtis, "you are finally awake," a deep husky voice made her turn around in alert, and sees a baeastman sitting at the entrance of the cave.

Harvey wakes up and covers Drusilla with his body, "don't go near him Rusi," Harvey warned but the unknown male just scoffed. He side glances and is a bit stunned that the female has soft yet alluring features, pink lips, electric blue eyes, and white hair the same color as the snow. He did not realize she is also pale.

Is she from the fox tribe? But I didn't smell any fox scent on her.

"I'm hungry..." Drusilla muttered but he heard her and began to suggest, "I'll go hunt, you stay there with her," before she said anything else the kite male had left, she is confused why he is avoiding her eyes.

Do my eyes look weird? There just normal blue.

"Are we in his cave?" she asked Harvey and he nodded in response, she sighs and hugs him, "I miss them already, what if something happens to them?"

"Curtis is a four stripe and Jarvis is triple, they are strong and I'm sure they can survive, but Drusilla," she raises her brow in confusion, "I know you are a female but why you didn't use your powers to escape?"

That's when she realized it, she tried to use her powers but only a faint glow came out, she tried to open her space and it was fine, "It seems the powers are the only problem but my space is still okay, I don't even know why."

Harvey then began to smell her and Drusilla remembers that this is how he finds out that Bai is pregnant and is now nervous, "You smell different, you are not pregnant but your scent is changing."

Drusilla then suddenly felt her body warm until it was painfully hot and tears start to build up making Harvey panic, "It hurts..." she cried and hug Harvey tightly for support and comfort.

Until she heard a crack in her back making her scream in pain. Jarvis and Curtis are on the way when they hear her scream, the kite male who was about to kill a prey also heard her and immediately went back.

Drusilla felt as if something is changing her body, her cries turn into painful growls, gold furs start to grow all over her body and her nose turns into a leopard snout with whiskers.

"Harvey!" Harvey did not say anything and just hug her even though she was turning into something else, he didn't know what to do, she was suffering in pain but he does not know how to help and all he can do is comfort her.

The kite male came first and sees the female transforming into a leopard, he is stunned because this is the first time he sees a female shifting. After a minute, Drusilla felt a bit tired and tried to stand up but all she can sees are gold paws.

W-What happened? WHY DO I HAVE PAWS?!

"Rusi?" Harvey called and the response he gets is whimpering but he understand because he is also a leopard, the kite snap out of his thoughts and slowly walk towards them, "what is she..."

"I know you are confused because I'm also confused," he commented and began petting Drusilla and she start to pur, "Rusi, can you change back?" she shakes her head and then Harvey start to tell her how to change back to see if it works.

As she imagines her appearance bones start to crack but it is not painful but just uncomfortable. Her body went back to normal but she is shaking with no clothes and was very tired, Harvey immediately covers her while the other male gazes in the other direction out of respect.
