Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. Wind vigorously whipped around her as her body continued its vast journey down towards the bloodied and crumbled Earth. Her body felt weightless. Almost as light as a falcon's feather.
They had lost. Pain rippled all throughout her beaten body. The cries of female warriors and the screeches of Pegasuses being mercilessly killed sounded all around the crumbling battlefield.
Time seemed to dramatically slow down. Pegasuses, too, descended down towards the Earth with the their broken wings coated in crimson. Female warriors fell down to the Earth with spears impaled into their chests. Red liquid was stained everywhere. The smell of metallic liquid and flesh tainted the air all around.
The fearless female warrior closed her eyes, the tears not halting for even a second from rolling down her unfathomable beautiful face. She prepared herself for the painful impact. The last inaudible breath that left her dry parted lips came as soon as her wounded body made contact with the stoned flooring of the Earth.
Crimson liquid puddled around her form as her eyes stared lifelessly up at the cold grey sky. The sun was hidden by the many clouds. Using all the strength she had left, she shakily lifted her hand up as her eyes slowly darted all around her.
She moved her finger in a rhythm as red hues dusted around her. Wheezing, she opens her mouth as more tears streamed down her face.
"O Theé, evlógisé mas álli mia méra. parakaló as min meínoume. giatí stis skiés, sto fos, se parakaló, áse mas na periplanithoúme xaná sto fos..." She groggily chanted, furrowing her brows in concentration.
With the last word leaving her lips, many beautiful arrays of colors bursted all around her. The woman sadly smiled before laying limp. Her sparkly eyes wondrously stared up at the grey sky. Letting the last tear roll down her cheek, she finally parted from the world.
Crimson blood was splattered all over the battlefield. Green hues surrounded the fallen female warriors and Pegasuses as their bodies began to peacefully disintegrate up into the cold, endless sky.
The woman who casted the spell, however, did not disintegrate like the others. Instead, she became dust. That was the last of the fearless warrior Mändala. Her very last spell caused her to be cursed for all of eternity.
