The hem of the cloak vigorously whipped at your ankles. The steady sound of footsteps echoed all around the nicely polished marbled hallway. The two females walked down the hallway, the air filled with the calmness of sedate.

"Why do I have to wear this?" You asked, narrowly tripping on the hem of the long and dark cloak. Your eyes, along with the upper parts of your face, were slightly covered by the hood of the cloak.

"No one can know your identity." Brunhilde murmured before abruptly stopping. Brunhilde held an arm out in front of you, stopping you from taking another step. You were about to say something before a small voice caused you to close your mouth.

"B-Brunhilde, who's that?" A girl with short lilac hair stuttered, fear evident on her face as she stared at you with big emerald eyes. You tilted your head to the side, causing her squeak.

"Göll, this is Christos." Brunhilde stated, your fake name rolling off her tongue like butter. You simply waved as Göll nervously waved back.

"Well why is he here?" Göll asked, fidgeting in her spot.

"He is a key to humanity's victory," Brunhilde explained, folding her arms, "We are heading to the training grounds, now if you'll excuse us."

Brunhilde placed a hand on your shoulder and steered you away from the small Valkyrie. Göll, who was still in a state of shock, curiously looked back before walking down the opposite direction of you and Brunhilde.

Once Göll was out of sight, Brunhilde slightly pivoted her body towards you, her face slightly grim.

"You'll need to make sure to not tell anyone your identity." Brunhilde strictly ordered, her eyes slightly narrowing. You huffed in annoyance.

"Yeah, yeah." You scoffed, "You've told me that a million times!"

A smile of amusement ghosted over Brunhilde's lips. She shook her head and continued walking.

"We're almost to the training grounds." Brunhilde spoke, ignoring your sour attitude. "Oh and you can't take your cloak off while training. It's too risky."

You let out a groan, tilting your head back.

"But what if I get hot?" You whined. Brunhilde just let out a small chuckle.

"Then you'll drink more water."

You slightly grumbled under your breath.

"And..." Brunhilde trailed off, catching your attention, "I'll get you your favorite desert after training if you do good."

You perked up a big grin abrading your face. Your eyes gleamed as you leaned towards Brunhilde in excitement.

"Really?" You asked, sounding like an excited kid on Christmas. Brunhilde felt her face heat up at your excitement as she tried to cover it with a small cough.

"Yes really."

Your smile only widened as you grabbed her by the arm and started dragging her.

"Then what are we waiting for?! C'mon!"

"Uh Y/n, other way."

"Oh- right... then let's go!"

Brunhilde softly chuckled under her breath as you continued to drag her down the corridors. A single big wood carved door was displayed at the end of the hallway. You turned to Brunhilde with a questioning glance.

"Is this it?" You asked, stopping. "You said it was around here, did you not?"

Brunhilde simply nodded before stepping in front of the large door. Her hands clasped around the metal handle before opening it. Your eyes tried adjusting to the bright light as things began to fade in as clearer.

A big grassy plain could be seen with several bricked sheds spread apart, containing what you could only assume was training equipment. You took a deep breath in, taking in the fresh air. Brunhilde stepped outside, you following her lead.

"Today we'll focus on the basics of on wielding weapons." Brunhilde explained, picking up a sword. You nodded in affirmation, determination present on your face. Brunhilde stared into the reflection of the gleaming blade, her eyes staring back at her.

"In your past life, you were able to conjure a katana from here." Brunhilde placed her pointer finger at the middle of your chest.

"Wait... so I was able to pull a katana out of my boobs?"

Brunhilde sighed, an irk mark appearing on her delicate face as faint blush could be seen on her cheeks.

"Take this seriously Y/n..."

You straightened your posture before saluting.

"Aye aye captain." You sarcastically spoke. Brunhilde once again let out a sigh.

"Let's just get to training." Brunhilde grabbed another sword, holding it out to you, "Are you ready?"

You shake yourself out of your goofy state and determination took over your features as you grasped onto the sword's handle. You smirked.

"I am." You paused, "Are you?"

Brunhilde smirked, her eyes slightly narrowing. She took a position before lunging at you. Alarms immediately went off inside of you.

"What?! I thought you're just going to teach me how to wield a sword!" You block Brunhilde's attacks, "Not attack me!"

Brunhilde just clicked her tongue, pulling away.

"When you fight a god, you'll need to be especially perceptive and flexible, not just physically but mentally too." Brunhilde stabbed the sword's tip into the soft soil. "You won't always know your opponent's next move."

You frowned but nonetheless nodded, understanding what Brunhilde was trying to say. She picked the sword back up, smirking as her eyebrows furrowed. She flexed her pointer finger, eyeing you down.

"So, are you ready for a hell lot of training?"

You playfully roll your eyes, taking an awkward stance.

"Not really. But I'm ready to pound you into the ground."

Brunhilde's face continued to hold its smirk. She held the sword up.

"Then bring it."
