"Raganarok is almost here." Brunhilde announced, her hands placed on the surface of the round table. "We need to step up our game and train harder than ever, or we..." She crushes the fragile cup in her hands, watching as it quickly crumbles away. "Are eliminated. And humanity ceases to exist."
A stilled silence is the only response. Many sets of blazing eyes are set on the staid Valkyrie. Her emerald eyes gleaming with determination. "This is why humanity is counting on you all to save them, after all you all are known as the strongest of all of humanity." Brunhilde pauses. "We have a person...- our trump card. She'll partake in our victory." Smirks of agreement display on some of the contestants' broad faces while others keep their boldness sheltered away.
Brunhilde smirked, her long lashes covering her closed bottom eyelids. Placing a gloved hand under her chin, her smirk only grows wider. "Not only is humanity counting on you all, I am too. And I will not let humanity cease to exist. I promise." Low muttering is heard all around. Brunhilde stayed completely silent, awaiting for any response. A small calming chuckle leaves a man with gold-like hair and calming blue eyes.
"Well said, Brunhilde." The man pauses to take a bite out of a rich red apple before spitting it out. "We will gain victory as you say we are destined to do." The man throws the apple, watching as it rolls away.
"Now, now Adam." A luring voice interrupts the calm man. "Isn't it too early to say we are going to win, we are up against gods after all." Eyes bestow themselves onto a man who is wearing a hat that casted a large shadow over his face, hiding his amused face. "You have no right to speak, you disgusting murderer." A gruff voice barks back. The strange man looks up, his child-like eye's glimmering as he giggles, his mouth twitching behind his mustache. "Why, that isn't very kind of you to say." The man's smirk only grows wider. "Besides, you can't really talk either. Don't act like you're all innocent. Because you're not, Lü Bu."
"You prick!" Lü Bu growled, abruptly standing up from his seat, anger setting inside of him. The man remained seated, unfazed by the warrior's outburst. Brunhilde loudly cleared her throat, annoyance visible on her usual composed face. Silence was once greeted again as Lü Bu slumped back into his seat, pouting like a child. "Now then..." Brunhilde sighed. "If we want to win, we all need to get along." Brunhilde's emerald eyes casted over to the man. "Jack the Ripper, you should be careful with that mouth of yours. Lü Bu..." Brunhilde casted her gaze over to the pouting warrior. "You shouldn't immediately resort to violence."
Lü Bu grumbled under his breath while Jack the Ripper apologetically bowed down to Brunhilde. "Please forgive me, my lady." Jack apologized, clearly mused by the situation. "I shouldn't of behaved like that." His eyes flashed with something hostile. "I'll be better."
Brunhilde remained silent, her eyes narrowing. "Back to business... as I mentioned earlier, we have a trump card, a key to win this." Brunhilde spoke, seriousness sugarcoating the room once again. "She is in fact a reincarnation of a fearsome warrior, who some of the gods even feared themselves. I want you all, as a part of saving humanity, to train her and unlock her memories so her power will be unlocked."
Nods came from some of the contestants while others silently groaned. "I expect you all, to treat her with respect." Brunhilde snapped, her face darkening. "If you don't, well, there will be some issues pertaining to this life or death mission." Fear sprawled amongst some of the contestants while others agreed to abide by Brunhilde's order. "We have exactly two months to train and that isn't very much time." Brunhilde spoke. "You all need to train and prepare yourselves. There will be loses, and we need to be prepared for when that happens. We cannot let them knock us off our feet that easily!" Roars and yells of agreement sprawled across the large room. Brunhilde held her hand up. Silence.
Suppressing a smirk, she continues. "We will win this." Holding her arms out high, Brunhilde raises her voice. "We will beat these gods!" Roars play back up as banging is heard from Lü Bu's mighty army. Terrified eyes peeked through the doorway as Göll watches her older sister in amazement, her green eyes filled with adoration. Brunhilde beams, dropping her arms to her side. "This meeting is now dismissed, think of what I said and put your mind to it. We are counting on you." With that, Brunhilde swivels away, her long train dress confidently flowing behind her, the doors slamming once she exits the room. Roars continually sounded around the room.
Chatter and laughter infiltrates the room. Lü Bu's angered eyes met with the mocking one of the infamous British killer. His other eye is blocked by a monocle, with gears fixating inside of the fragile thing. Lü Bu, with furry, storms out of the room, trying to keep himself composed. Yet, no avail. Out of anger, he punches the wall, watching as the ample crumbles from impact. He shakes. Jack the Ripped definitely knew how to bury himself underneath his skin. And that pisses Lü Bu off.
Trying to calm himself down, he slowly walks down the cobblestone path, his mind racing. He saw Chen Gong, his trusty partner, come outside to look for him. Lü Bu, not having the brightest of moods, ignores Chen Gong's constants yells for him and continues walking. With no destination in mind, Lü Bu stumbles upon a green field with many flowers blooming, making the scene so much more serene.
Feeling calmed by the scene, Lü Bu stumbles to sit down, letting the calming wind brush through his long hair. Moments pass by in a peaceful silence. Lü Bu already began to feel much better, cloning his eyes to the peace. Rustling behind him catches him off guard, causing his senses to sharpen. Quickly getting up, Lü Bu gets into a fighting position, his dangerous eyes blazing. His eyes met with ones of a girl as his composure immediately stiffens.
Beautiful and serene E/C eyes met with his, as H/C hair gently blew against the soft S/C of the woman's beautiful face. Her eyes were wide and alarmed. Lü Bu felt a feeling of warmth and calmness wash over him. He was lost at words by the woman's beauty. An angry snort was heard from the ground, causing the warrior to cast his eyes down to the ground. A fluffy white baby Pegasus, dangerously eyed him, while standing protectively in front of who seems to be his or her owner.
Lü Bu's eyes traced back onto the woman's. Backing away, the woman began running, her small Pegasus hobbling behind her. "Wait!" Lü Bu called out, slightly stunned by his own words. The woman's beautiful H/C hair whips behind her as she continues to run, Lü Bu's eyes not once taking themselves off of her. "Wait..."
