"H-hey! Let go of me!" You yelled. You thrashed around in the stranger's iron grip. The tyrant remained silent, his lifeless eyes studying your face. Strands of H/C hair fluttered into your face as you continued to try to break yourself free. "Look, I'm sorry for bumping into you. It was an accident. You don't have to be a dipshit about it!" You angrily hissed. He gave no reply which only watered upon your anger.
The man's face remained cold and distant but his grip on you only tightened. You cried out in pain. You knew if only he tightened his grip a little more; then you can say goodbye to a functioning wrist. Pain and discomfort morphed onto your face. You used your free hand to try to pry yourself out of his painful grip. "Let go of me you-" Your shrilled voice was muffled by the man pressing a hand to your mouth. He roughly pushed you up against the wall. Your fearful eyes stared straight into his. A shiver ran down your spine. Only the tip of your shoes barely touched the ground.
His face hovered over yours, his eyes never leaving yours. "You remind me so much of her." He briskly spoke with disgust. "But you are far too weak." Look of confusion struck your face. "I actually thought you were her. But, no. You're only a pathetic mortal. A pest." With that, he let go of you. You gasped and collapsed to the cold ground. Desperate coughs erupted from your mouth. The tyrant stared down at you, not caring for the evident pain you displayed. Hand to your chest, you glared up at him. "You-"
"Ahhhh!" A fearful scream echoed down the hallway. Your eyes snapped over to the direction of the shrilling sound. Göll stood fearfully in her spot, looking mortified. The tyrant silently scoffed before walking away, his heavy footsteps echoing throughout the marbled hallway. You brought a hand up around your hoarse throat. The young Valkyrie rushed to your side. "Oh my gods, are you alright?" She frantically asked, tears brimming around her enlarged emerald eyes.
"Y-yeah..." You mumbled. You shakily stood up. You glanced in the direction the strange man went in. "Who was that?" You turned, asking the startled Valkyrie. You gently clutched onto your sore wrist. Göll's jaw dropped at your sudden question. "You mean you don't know?" She asked. Her bewildered gaze only sharpened by your small nod. She let out a small sigh. "Well, he is the god of the sea... Lord Poseidon. It's a miracle that you're still alive. After all, the way the situation looked like, I would of thought he'd kill you." Göll gulped. Your eyes widened.
You looked down at your shaky hands. So it was the god of the sea; of raging earthquakes and the creator of the horses that you had angered. You shuddered. What did he mean by 'You remind me so much of her.' "Um." Göll's meek voice pulled you out of your thoughts. "If you want, I can take you to the medical center. I'm Göll by the way." You weakly smiled. 'I know.' "Thank you for the offer, Göll, but really, I'm fine." You replied. "My name is Y/n." Göll's eyes held a small sparkle in them. She smiled. A small silence took over you and the short Valkyrie.
"Well, I guess I'll take my leave." You spoke, cutting through the silence. Göll awkwardly nodded before pulling away. "I guess I'll see you around?" You asked to which Göll quickly nodded. "Y-yeah!" You smiled at her fumbled words and began the walk to preside in your warm chambers. The young Valkyrie's eyes lingered on your form until you disappeared from sight.
Your heels clacked against the floor. A look of annoyance and confusion was placed upon your face. You had no idea what the Tyrant of the Sea meant by that, and frankly the thought has been eating away at you. You let out a sigh of frustration. You stopped in your tracks. Your breathing suddenly became more frequent and heavy. A feeling of nausea bubbled in the pit of your stomach. Pain pierced your head making you let out a groan. Stumbling, you frantically find a wall and place your hand on it to steady yourself.
Pain gnawed away at your body. 'W-what's happening?' Your head raced. You look towards your bedroom door that was only a few feet away and in that moment, the world seemed to get dizzy. Stumbling, you try to reach for the door. Heart racing. Head pounding. You suppress the urge to throw up. But before your hand could clasp around the familiar material of the bedroom door, you collapsed. You laid on the cold floor, terrified and confused. Pain still lingered. You try to move your body but no avail.
Your vision became blurred with black speckles. You tried to keep your eyes open. The familiar sounds of hooves pattering against the floor filled your ears. You tried to lift your head but everything felt too heavy. You couldn't. A familiar small white figure filled your line of sight. It became bigger and bigger with each step it took. A wet warm muscle tenderly dragged across your forehead. It was Peony. Peony's worried filled eyes met with yours. Whines left the youngling as she desperately tried to get a response out of you. "Peony..." Your voice was so weak that it was barely even audible. It hurt to speak.
Peony gently nudged you, beckoning you to get up. "I can't move..." You trailed off. Your mouth began to go numb. Peony's whines of desperation only grew louder. Your line of vision darkened. A feeling of sleepiness washed over you. Your burning eyes began to feel heavy. You felt your body go limp as you silently watched your Pegasus screech and frantically nudge you. "I'm sorry. I don't feel too good Peony." You coughed. Your mind began to spin. The last thing you saw before blacking out was Peony racing down the hallway.
