To start my day, I decided to ignore all the feelings I had towards Charles at the moment and put the Grand prix on my tv. It was only 7am when the race began and Emilio was still in bed in the guest room meaning I was on my own to watch it. I for some reason still had the same nervous feeling as I watched Charles fight his way back and forth on the track throughout the whole race. I tried paying attention to Daniel and Pierre but I couldn't help but still focus on Charles as I found myself fiddling with the blanket I had over my lap. Max, Seb and Carlos all didn't finish and I watched as Charles was holding his position against Checo and George.

Charles finished first and I did feel a little excitement for him as I did know how much wins meant to him but it was just a shame that I wasn't there to say well done because of the circumstances we were in as of right now. I wish I didn't continue watching but as they all got on the podium the camera kept switching to Lauren, who was clapping for Charles, whilst also looking down at her phone every two seconds. He stood on the podium with a huge smile on his face as he sprayed the champagne all over the other two drivers up there with him, Checo and Russel.

When Charles went down to where the team was, he was pulled into a huge hug by some of the engineers, who were tapping him on the back congratulating him. Then, I saw him grab Lauren by the face in a similar way that he had done with me in his drivers room and he pulled her into a kiss. It was a kiss which looked like it actually meant something for once compared to the other times I had seen them kiss under their 'fake relationship.' All the excitement I had for him disappeared and I turned the tv off, leaving that image in my head for the rest of the day.

I went to work as I had planned and it was a little lonely not having Lily barge into my office multiple times through the day with my donuts or a drink but I managed to get through the day fine as it went quite fast. In just one day I had planned for a fashion show to be done in Paris for the business and it's new clothes that was going to be coming out in the next month or so. It was a hectic day as there was a lot of paperwork to be done that for some reason hadn't be done by anyone else whilst I'd been gone but I was able to get through it all and still managed to finish work by 5.

Another thing I did today was change my phone number because for some reason people had been able to get a hold of it and I was getting so many calls whilst my phone was turned on. I hadn't realised the phone calls were coming from random people until I answered one of the calls and it was someone screaming about Charles and Lauren down the phone to me. I really didn't understand the obsession people had with other peoples lives because nothing concerned them. I told everyone who needed my number what it was as I messaged them all but one person I did miss out was Charles and it wasn't because I didn't want to but it was because I didn't know how to message him. In fact, I didn't really want to after what I had seen this morning.

I still couldn't help but think about what I had watched this morning but there was no point in dwelling on it or else I'd just make myself a misery for the rest of the day and that wouldn't make me fun company for anyone. Emilio had stayed at my house for the day as I left him there with a key in case he wanted to go out but when I returned he was still there, sprawled over my sofa watching a tv show I did not recognise but a show that seemed to be Spanish as the characters were speaking that language.

"Welcome home, Chica" Emilio said as he saw me walk through the door into my kitchen, where I placed my bag on the side. "Busy day?"

"Yes, very"

"Well we are going out tonight remember" he said, reminding me that I had agreed to that last night.

I nodded my head and took my hair out of the bun I had put it into this morning before leaving for work. I was going to head to get a shower and get ready and then we could leave at around half 7, hopefully to get into the bars a bit earlier before everyone was already drunk.
