Y/n POV
Today happens to be the worst day of my life, and it always comes once a year. I mean, all it is, is a constant reminder of my single ass because I'm the only one in the pack‒hell, even the only one in Beacon Hills‒who isn't in a relationship. In my 18 years of living, I have never been in a relationship before.

So, welcome to my lonely life on this beautiful Valentine's Day morning.

Like before, I walk into the school building to the sight of everyone handing out cards, love letters, teddy bears, heart-shaped chocolates, and flowers to their lovers. I hear 'I love you's' from multiple classmates, making me want to gouge my eyes and ears off to stop seeing and hearing all this lovey-dovey bullshit.

This bullshit goes on all day until, finally, the bell goes off, signifying the end of the day.

Usually, I am one of the last ones out of the building but, on this certain day, I always am one of the first people out. However, today ended up not being my lucky day to miss the after show of Valentine's Day because, the moment I opened up my locker, a note fell out of it.

A note.

A note on Valentine's Day.

Well, that's a new one for me so, of course, I'm going to see what's inside.

Upon opening it up, the letter read:

Dear y/n,

I know you and your pack really haven't seen eye-to-eye at all, especially with the dread doctors a couple months ago, but I just wanted to see if you wanted to go out with me tonight. If you say yes to this proposal, I will be waiting in my truck for you. If you say no, I just want you to know that I understand why. I mean, I haven't really been anyone's favorite but, for what it counts, I am doing my very best to redeem myself. I hope I see you soon.

- Theo

Theo?

Theo is taking interest in me?

What the-

"Oooo, what's this," I hear from behind me as the note gets ripped out of my hands.

"Hey, Stiles," I reply, easily identifying his voice

After awhile, he doesn't respond back since his focus remains on the note in his hands. However, by his expression on his face, I can tell what he is already thinking.

"Theo? Really?" he finally says upon looking up from the note.

I heavily sigh. "Yes, Theo. Now will you please give the note back."

"You are going to say no, right?"

"Honestly, I don't know what my answer will be, but I do know he is waiting for a response. So, I would like to think of what my answer will be, in peace."

"Oh, come on, y/n. He is the living definition of bad news."

"Yes, but, people can change, right? I mean, Lydia changed. Malia changed. Hell, even Derek and Peter changed."

"Really? You're going to play that card?"

"Yes, in fact, I am."

"Fine. But, don't come running to me when you find out that I was right."

"Fine. I won't."

With that, Stiles hands my note back to me and walked off to, probably, meet up with Lydia.

Now, I have a decision to make. If I say yes, it would be my first date EVER. If I say no, I would miss that opportunity. However, if I say yes, he might end up killing me. But, then again, if I say no, he might kill me for that, too.
