When reading, it is good to note that, in this story, Rafe did NOT attempt to drown Sarah, and he NEVER attempted to kill her. Plus, there is a backstory between you and Rafe that would have happened in season two

You and Rafe have a complicated relationship. On one hand, you try to give him the benefit of the doubt for some things. Yet, on the other hand, you are a pogue while he is a kook. You both are always conflicted with this, especially since the other pogues despise him and Rafe reciprocates those feelings.

In all honesty, you get tired of their bickering and have countless times intervened between them. In doing so, your relationship with the pogues staggered and you figured you were screwed when you got taken by this rich guy. You felt the pogues would leave you there despite everything you guys have been through.

Currently, the rich guy in question, whom you discover is Carlos Singh, is having you wear a long, red dress and telling you to be ready for dinner. You thought it over and decided to figure out what this guy wanted, so you put on the dress and walked out of the room.

Looking in one room, you spotted some guy in a suit, rummaging around. Curious as to who he was, you spoke up.

"Uhh," you proceeded with caution. "Excuse me?"

The guy turned out, and you immediately realized who it was.

"Rafe?!" you exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Rafe said.

"Well, I asked first," you pushed.

Rafe rolled his eyes. "I am making a business deal. Which, by the way, I am not going to let you weasel your way in this deal."

"And I don't want any part in the deal you are making. I would just like to know why we are both here."

"You're both here because you have some valuable information that I need," Carlos explains.

"What information could we possibly have?" you sassily ask.

"If you come with me, we will have that chat," he says, gesturing to the room behind him.

You and Rafe walked in the room where Carlos told you to go. You all took a seat and you got into the discussion of a place called El Dorado.

Apparently, Carlos figured you knew where it was, but you told him neither of you did. With no luck, he sent you both back up to the room he placed you in earlier that day.

As soon as the door shut, you plopped down on the bed with an exasperated sigh.

"This fucking sucks," you expressed.

Rafe puts his hands behind his head in frustration.

"I mean, what are we going to do?" you continued. "We don't know anything about what he's talking about and, now, we're both stuck with each other. I mean, I don't mi-"

"Y/n." Rafe interrupts with a bit of a harsh tone. "Could you just shut up for a moment?"

"I could, but what else are we going to do in this room?"

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe.. figure a way out of here!"

"Okay, okay! You don't need to get all pissy about it."

You get up from the bed, grabbed the clothes you had on earlier, and headed to the bathroom in the room to change. After finishing up, you walked back out and see Rafe laying on the bed with his hand behind his head.

"So, did you think of anything?" you followed up with, laying down beside him.

"Nope," he answered. "You?"

"Nope," you mimicked.

He frustratingly sighs. "But, I know there is a way to get us out of here and off this island. We just need an open window of opportunity."

And, he was right.

Working together, you guys manage to fight your way out and hitched a ride in the back of a trunk of a truck-like vehicle. Exhausted, you both took this time to catch your breath.

"Holy shit," you breathed. "We just did that."

Rafe smiles at you. "Hell yeah, we did."

"What now?" you inquired.

"Now, we head out to my boat," he said. "I can give you a ride and drop you off wherever."

"Okay. Yeah. I would appreciate that."

Heading out onto Rafe's boat, you are faced with a choice. Your choices are...

A - Ask Rafe to use his boat to pick up the other pogues since they may be worried about you

B - Tell him straight up you are going to find your friends and he needs to be hidden from view

C - Throw him overboard without making it obvious what you are doing

D - Don't do anything and just go back home with him because, again, you feel the other pogues don't seem to care that much about you anymore

A/n - Depending on your answer, you will decide what the end of the story/imagine will be (there will be four, separate parts in the book in relation to this story). I wanted to try this new prompt I thought of out and Rafe was the perfect starting point for it because of this scene with Kie
