THE sun was hitting diegos face. his head was pounding and the birds were chirping outside. all he could focus on was the thumping going on in his head.
thump. thump. thump. it just repeated and repeated.
he heard a loud gasp coming from his girlfriend who was laying next him. today diego got to rest. braga was playing today and diego didnt go.
y/n found it strange because diego would go to all the games even if he wasn't playing or just benched.
"diego! diego! wake up!" y/n violently shook him.
"babe not right now please my head hurts.." diego groaned covering his face.
"no diego wake up! what is this about tigres or america!?"
shit.
diego sat up preparing to have this conversation with the girl. he wanted to break the news to her but not in this way. gosh he hated the internet.
he let out a sigh before speaking up.
"okay! ill tell you the truth. im not staying at braga any longer i have to go back to mexico and i already decided which club im going to."
y/n was shocked. her mouth had dropped. she didn't know what to say or how to feel. did she waste her time here in spain? should she have never went to spain and just stayed in mexico?
"y/n. say something? please?"
"diego i don't know what to say."
diego grabbed onto y/n's hand. he wanted her to support him through everything. he wanted her to be by his side. she was his other half. the other half he was missing his entire life.
she was the missing piece he needed.
"sabes que diego. no matter what.. siempre te voy a apoyar"
diego couldn't help but hug the girl. he was happy she spoke up.
"te amo!! te amo!!" he said kissing her cheek speaking in between each kiss.
"so when are we leaving? in a couple of months?" y/n asked with a smile on her face.
"eh close enough.. but maybe try a week?"
thats when her smile completely dropped.
