Breathing Technique: Blood Breathing

A Breathing technique derived from Flame. It replicates the user's swings of their blades. Depending on how strong and swift the swings/forms are, the technique gets stronger. Physically demanding. According to the form the user chooses, the blood either burns, explodes, or releases a strong scent that demons cannot resist easily. However, some forms require the user's own blood, which increases the risk of getting infected.

Backstory:-

Ryoba is Tengen's younger sister. She trained hard as a shinobi, but her father used to abuse her saying she was "weak because she is a female" and not a man. Ryoba was often kept in a dark room, with very little food. Her only way to pass time was to train, and she would be physically punished if she was caught doing anything else. Eventually, Tengen was the one who would help her in sneaking and to see how the outside actually looked like.

When Tengen decided to kill his remaining siblings, he couldn't bring himself to kill his own father. Ryoba, seeing the corpses of her siblings who once emotionally abused her as well, she got into a fit of rage at Tengen. Due to the abuse, Ryoba couldn't help but tolerate the abusive behaviors from her older siblings. She was mad at Tengen because he killed the rest, and her anger didn't melt until she blacked out.

Training as a Demon Slayer with her brother, she faced problems in adapting to Shadow Breathing due to her damaged mentality, especially since Shadow Breathing needs a lot of meditation, so an abused 15-year- old girl like Ryoba had to change her way of thinking in order to achieve that goal. However, Tengen thought it'd be useless considering her anger issues, and he managed to convince her to learn Sound Breathing instead.

Ryoba being Ryoba, she secretly practiced meditation every single day, her anger slowly fading. In the end, she surprised Tengen with learning two Breathing Techniques in under two years. Later, when becoming a Hashira, she was pleased by the others accepting her despite her trauma.

Physical Appearance:-

Pretty identical to Tengen, only that her left eye is a pale pink due to lack of melanin. Her hair is short, and she often ties it into a messy hairstyle (she doesn't mind as long as she can see easily). Uneven curtain bangs that expose the scars on her face. A slender but physically strong body, she has abs and back muscles. Her legs are also an advantage in kicking anything in her way, including wood or stone. Her uniform is black, sleeveless, and a long skirt with ripped sides. A window similar to Mitsuri's. And for those peasants (I'm joking) who don't get it, this is how it kinda looks like

However, the skirt is a bit longer. The window doesn't show much since Ryoba wraps herself in bandages, including her chest and neck. Black thigh-high stockings, and a long fishnet glove in her right hand, the left is bandaged. Traditional Japanese platforms, her glimmering shinobi headband, a golden earring and more gold on her right thigh and above her elbows.

Personality:-

Since she basically only knew Tengen, her father, and her siblings, she adopted his flashy character as well. Stubborn and a sarcasm queen. She wont hesitate to use violence to get what she wants. Loud and aggressive, even if she is grinning. She rarely gets calm, and if she did, it'd be to create a situation to manipulate others who underestimate her. Very clever strategically, her every move and sentence is well calculated. Almost anything she does is made in order to bring a slight advantage to her.

Fun Facts:-

Ryoba is attracted to Giyuu and Sanemi. She doesn't make any moves, though. She plans to stay single for some more time, claiming that she's not ready for "emotional shit she should deal with" considering that she's not good with her words. She only flirts with either of them when she wants to tease them.

Despite her loud aura, Ryoba becomes calmer around Iguro. The main reason was that she doesn't want him to be scared or annoyed since she is a woman, not to mention that Kaburamaru dislikes loud noises as well. She would talk to him about different things to make him less tense around women.

Ryoba lives in the same house with her brother and his three wives. Therefore she has to deal with Suma and Makio. She has absolutely no problem since she's used to them both. The first time Suma cried because Makio hit her, Ryoba immediately got her nichirin blades unsheathed while Hinatsuru was trying to calm her down.

One thing Ryoba hates is cleaning her weapons. She dislikes the smell of blood mixed with steel, and she needs someone to talk to while cleaning them so that's she wont lose her cool. She usually talks with Muichiro or with Gyomei. When she was alone once, Ryoba was already irritated from a recent event. Let's just say that she stabbed the blade through the wooden floor of her brother's Estate, causing Hina to come and check if everything is okay.
