-Y/n-

I stand there outside of the small shack and facing the man that broke my brother's heart. He broke my heart. "How could you?" My voice wavers and I can feel the anger boil inside me. "I'm sorry just-" I don't let him finish his sentence because I've waiting for about a year and a half for this very conversation.

"How could you just leave Adam like that? We all thought you died Shiro! Not even that- you could have died!" I yelled. I began to pace around. I was so angry that I began to cry. One tear after another and for what? Why do I have to cry? I didn't love Shiro like how my brother did. So why am I crying? Just as my pacing came to a stop I felt a pair of arms wrap around my shoulders.

"I shouldn't have left things the way I did. I know that and I'm going to make a promise to you that I will fix things." Shiro's voice was soft and comforting. It was all the comfort that I needed in this moment and time. My hand clutches Shiro's shirt as more tears fall from my eyes.

I don't deserve to cry. I don't deserve to be here in Shiro's arms... Adam does. Adam loves Shiro and Adam deserves to be happier than me. "You better." Was all that I could choke out. We stayed there as the sun took it's final moments to rise for the day. Leaving the Earth covered in a golden hue.

"Sorry to interrupt." I let go of Shiro to turn around only to find a very awkward looking Keith standing there. His violet gaze was on the ground and his arms crossed. "It's okay. I'll let you two have some privacy." I said walking away. For some reason I felt as if Keith pushed me away. I felt like I was unwanted by him but then again I'm pretty sure Keith made everyone feel like that. Which leaves me to believe that he was the reason why he didn't have many friends. He comes off very distant and a lot of people just don't know how to deal with that.

My feet felt like they weighed hundreds of pounds as I walked back to the wooden shack. I opened the door and all eyes were on me. Why can't they just all mind their own business? For just this once?

"They'll be back any minute now. When they get back expect to talk about our next move." I said. I leaned up against the wall and slid down then fell to the floor. The next thing I knew was that I was fading in and out of consciousness. I forced my eyes open. A bright light blinds me and so I bring my arms up to protect my eyes. What is going on? Where am I?

The light dims a bit and I remove my arms from my eyes only to see what I can only assume to be a robot? I close my eyes again. My body jolts up as I reopen my eyes once more. I look around the room. Lance's hands are on my shoulders shaking me. Did I fall asleep? What was that robot thing?

"You okay?" Lance asks. I nod my head, yes in response. "Good." His voice sounds a bit distant as he releases my shoulders. I rub my aching head and stand up. Man, I should really take better care of myself after this. No more energy drinks, alcohol and partying. "Now that we have everyone, we can finally start talking about our next move." Shiro explains. I felt a bit attacked but you know, I'll definitely get him back for that later on. Maybe I'll use all of my blackmail on him or something in front of the whole group and see how he likes it.

"There's something I want to show you all." Keith says. I watch his hand move to a sheet covering a board and in less than a second the sheet is off. I walk up to the board and take a closer look. My hand glides over pictures of cave markings, news papers and finally stops at a picture of Keith, Shiro and myself.

It was from one of the times that Shiro took us out for a drive on his hover bike. That day was one of the first days I've ever felt truly alive. The first day I didn't feel so alone. "What is this all Keith?" I ask as I turn away from the photo to face the group. "I'm not too sure. After being booted from the Garrison I didn't really have a place to go but something drew my here." Keith's explanation was not doing what it need to do. "What drew you here?" I asked, trying to dig deeper.

"Some sort of power. Kinda like a moth to a flame sort of thing." What the hell was that supposed to mean? "Yeah sure." I shot a glare at Lance. He flinched underneath my gaze. He really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. It's gonna get him in some serious doo doo one day. "Where are the caves that have the markings on them?" Shiro asked. I begun to zone out.

"Y/n!" I snapped out of it and realized that only Lance and me were in the shack now. "Are you okay?" He asked placing both his hands on my shoulders. I gazed into his eyes and felt a jolt of anxiety run through me. We're alone. He's got his hands on me but not in the ways that I want them to be. I nod my head, yes. Then finally follow him out of the door.

Then finally follow him out of the door
