We did it and saved prisoners in the process. And I even kept my promise to Y/n. I can't wait to tell her about how I flew blue and kept her from getting shot down by the Galran ship, tell her about how we formed Voltron, and maybe even tell her that I missed her. Who knows? Maybe today is the day I tell her everything I've been holding back.

"Y/n!" I ran out of the blue lion not even bothering to remove my helmet. "Y/n!" I continued to yell as I ran through the door only to be met by the faces of Coran and Allura. "Hey, have you guys seen Y/n?" I asked looking around. "Not since she went off into the hallway. You may want to check her room. Maybe she just has fallen asleep." Allura said. I could tell from the way everyone was looking like they'd pass out at any second. I'd definitely would be the only one running off to try and look for her.

I walked through the halls cautiously. If she is asleep then I better not wake her since well she's probably as tired as everyone else a board the ship. No, that is not including Coran and Allura. As I'm walking I start to feel this eerie feeling like something bad has happened and I just don't know yet. The hall was so quiet and dimly lit because after getting the red lion and defeating the Galra everyone had decided to head off to bed as soon as they got back.

My heart is beating out of my chest, I can hear the beating in my head it's so quiet, and I can feel myself breathing heavily. God if your real please tell me she's just in her bed or something safe. If you don't promise me this then I'll ignore you for a while buddy. So don't be playing with me right now.

My heart drops to my stomach and I can feel my knees giving out on me. I ripe the helmet off my head and throw it to the floor. "Y/n." I said firmly. My hands shaking as I lift her head off the floor and into my lap. I try my best to shake her. "Hey come on now you gotta wake up. Please just be joking with me... Come on wake up!" I shook her and shook her. She was burning up.

"Shiro!" I yelled. Holding her to my chest and rocking back and fourth on the floor. "Lance?" He said questioningly as he walked out of his room. "It's Y/n. She isn't waking up." I spoke frantically. Trying to stop the tears about to spill from my eyes. "Here let me take her." Shiro's voice remained calm but I could still see the worry hidden in his eyes.

"What should we do?" I asked. I couldn't pull myself up from the floor. I was tired, worried to the point I wanted to throw up, and most of all I just wanted to trade places with Y/n. It wouldn't matter if I was the one not responsive, fever, and passed out cold.

"We need to try and get her fever down." Shiro explained walking into Y/n's room and laying her down on the bed. "Once her fever breaks then we maybe able to wake her up and see what to do from their." Shiro's such a great leader. He stays calm even though he must be at least a little worried for Y/n. Meanwhile I'm over here having my whole world come crumbling down upon me.

"How do we break a fever then?" I asked. He looked as if he was thinking but we don't have time for thinking or at least I don't. "Well I'd say it would be to get her something to drink but again we know she's not responsive. For now she might just need rest and to stay in a cooler area." Shiro answered.

"Also Lance." He said in a hushed tone as he was about to walk out of the room. "You having feelings for her don't you?" My face began to heat up. I had been found out. "What gave it away?" I asked looking down at my feet. "The way you talk about her, look at her, and the way you care for her. Ever since we first got here you have taken care of her better than well- me. Thank you."

"Why are you thanking me?" I question.  "For keeping her safe for me. If you need anything then you know where to find me and come and get me if she wakes up." I don't really know how to feel about all this. "You got it." I said trying to give my best smile as I watched my hero leave the room.

Looking back at Y/n I felt my heart beating out of my chest. I suppose I'll sleep here on the floor for tonight just in case she wakes up. If she wakes up...

 If she wakes up
