Written in the stars (Lance x Reader)

(Chapter sixteen)

"Good morning to you all!" Allura shouted. Surprisingly she seems in a good mood. "Good morning Princess." Shiro said. And you know I'm beginning to believe that Shiro is kind of a suck up to Allura or maybe he is just being smart but I don't now which one it is yet.

"I hope you are all ready for a busy day because I think the natives here are beginning to become more and more interested in our castle and Voltron along with it. Shiro, Coran, do you mind staying behind here at the castle to stay with Pidge and the prisoners we rescued from the Galra's ship?" She asked.

Oh crap, I forgot about the prisoners and Pidge and everything. I'll have to talk to Pidge later but for now I'll just focus on meeting the natives. "Now for all the rest of you. You must be on your best behaviors. We don't want to scare, hurt, or alarm them in any way." Allura explained.

"But what if they are dangerous?" Keith asked. One hand on his bayard. I rolled my eyes because this is the exact reason why I was one of Keith's only friends back at the Garrison. It's because Keith has a hard time trusting and not judging people instantly. "Your bayard won't be needed because Coran tells me that they are quite peaceful here."

I smiled knowing that Allura is right and Keith will be wrong. "Whatever. I'm still bringing it just in case." He pouted. Lance, Keith, Hunk, and myself all followed Allura outside of the castle. It was nice being outside even if it's not exactly Earth it was still nice.

"Hello there." Allura said. I watched as the small creature rustled around in a bush. Even though the little guy had a wepon in his hand, he was still freaking adorable. "Hello, I am my villages bravest warrior." The little alien stated.

Knowing how Keith it I made sure to put an arm out in front of him to stop him from whatever he was planning to do to the poor little alien. "Don't even think about it Keith." I side eyed him, making sure my arm stayed in front of him.

After a while though things calmed down and we were soon walking through the little Arus village. "Come with me Keith." I said grabbing his arm. "Why? Where are we going?" He asked. "Away from here. I want to see more of the planet. I would ask Lance but I think the aliens like him quite a lot." I explained.

"Okay whatever. We'll explore for a little bit... There was something I wanted to talk to you about anyways." He said. We walked off and away from the village and more into the woods. "So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked. Curiosity getting the best of me as usual.

"I wanted to start off by saying sorry about losing my temper when you wondered off back when we first got to the castle." He said. My eyes widened. Keith Kogane rarely ever apologizes so who is this?

"I accept your apology. It's just I don't think I've every heard you apologize to anyone without being forced to before." I stated. "I know but I regret it and well there's more I want to tell you." He said.

My head began to pound and my vision blurred. I closed my eyes and watched as my newest vision came to me. There was a monster and it was going after the villagers. I reopened my eyes once more my vision then returning minutes later.

"Y/n are you okay? You fainted." keith said holding me. "I'm just fine but the villagers are in trouble. I need your help Keith." I explained wiping a bit of blood from my nose. I began running towards the village as blood poured from my nose and my head pounding.

"Allura!" I screamed. "Allura the village is in trouble." I said trying to catch my breath. "Y/n what happened? Where's Keith? What is going on?" Allura asked alarmed clearly. "There is no time. We need to get them out of here." I stated.

Then just from the corner of my eye I saw something crashing through the planets atmosphere. "Maybe your right. Lance, Hunk, and Keith. We need to go and get the villagers out of here and to the castle where they will be safe." Allura announced.

I guided crowds of the tiny guys into the castle and luckily we had them all inside by the time Voltron was needed. Voltron was fighting the monster I saw in my visions. I had saved the village from danger.

( Hello and thank you all for reading my story so far. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been kind of pushing off writing this chapter just because I had been in a weird state lately. I won't go into it but just know that I will trying to get back to posting new chapters at least every other day.)
