(Chapter seventeen)

-Lance-

Whatever that monster thing was I think I hate it more then I hate Keith. But I think it's weird that Y/n knew the village was in danger before everyone else did but who knows maybe she saw it before all of the rest of us. Then again her nose was bleeding pretty bad though. Don't exactly know how that happened.

I walked through the doors and into the controls room where Coran was helping Y/n stop the blood pouring from her nose. "Ah. You all are Heroes tonight." Coran said enthusiastically. "We've decided to host a party for the village in the castle tonight." Allura announced. Normally I would've been happy and excited but right now all I can feel is a pit in my stomach along with worry.

"Princess are you sure we should have the castle opened to the village?" Shiro asked in a hushed voice. I'm pretty sure that he wanted to make sure the other villagers couldn't hear his concern. "It'll all be just fine Shiro. I can assure you that if anything happens we'll be able to take care of it." Allura said with a smile.

I walked over to Coran and Y/n. "Hey how are you doing?" I asked putting a hand on her shoulder. She just stared at me with a blank expression. "They can't go through with the party." She stated. Wait she heard all that? Never mind that, why doesn't she want a party?

*FLASHBACK*

"Kiss me!" She yelled over the music blasting through the speakers. "What?" I yelled back in shock. "You should- just like kiss me." Her speech was slurred and she was swaying a bit. "Uh Y/n I think you've had a little too much to drink. come on lets get you back to your dorm." I said grabbing her hand.

"No! No I need to stay and dance." She protested and ripped her hand out of mine. I chased her into another room and watched as she propped herself up on a wooden table. Her body began to sway to the music and people began to gather around to watch her.

I stayed back kinda shocked that she had that in her. It was like she was in her own world there for a second and before she could fall from the table I made sure to swiftly catch her before her face could ever meet the floor.

"No, no, take me back." She whined as I carried her out of the party. Her head then laid in the crook of my neck as I carried her to a park bench. She can't go back to the Garrison like this. She'd be expelled or something else. At the very least she could get detention for at least two weeks.

"Lance." She said looking into my eyes. "Yes Y/n." She smiled a wonky smile. "You have pretty eyes."I felt like my heart had melted.

*THE PRESENT*

I know that the current situation is nothing like that moment because we were tipsy and back on Earth. I remember that night as the night that I realized that I had more then just a crush on her, I was in love with her. But I think she doesn't even remember that September night.

I walk away from her. Maybe giving her a little space would help her. After walking back to my room I take a deep breath in and out before getting ready to get into the shower. I let the water run through my hair and down to my shoulders, chest, back and stomach, and it almost makes me miss home.

I miss the oceans, lakes, rivers, creeks, and rain. I miss the late night thunder storms and the way the lighting looked in the sky. I miss the trees swaying, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the flowers.

I turn the water off and step out of the shower then wrapping a towel around my waist. Water drops fall from my wet hair and then I can faintly hear my bedroom door open .

I walk out of the bathroom, forgetting to put actual clothes on. There in the middle of my room stands Y/n. Her eyes widen at the sight of me making me remember. 'Oh crap I'm in just a towel...This doesn't look to good for either of us.'

"Um I'm sorry. I should've knocked." Y/n said frantically before turning around and covering her eyes. "Uh it's okay. But anyway why are you in here?" I asked. "I wanted to tell you something." She answered. My heart skipped a beat. "Oh yeah? And what's that?" I asked.

"Ever since we've found the blue lion I've been having on and off visions. That's why I knew the Galra were going to attack earlier." Her voice was dead serious. Which meant that this isn't a joke. She's not joking about this. "Why are you telling me this?" I asked.

"Because you are in danger."
