Dalton(B)'s been acting a little weird the last few days he's been quiet and secretive to further that Bunga's accusing Fuli of being a spy which me and Dalton don't believe.
On patrol, it's pretty slow but Dalton B and Fuli have been staying close and been extra jumpy.
Nothing happens and Dalton asks to talk with every after patrol. It starts raining so we all run into the lair and Dalton says "Uh I didn't plan this too well but I need to admit something about myself. I'm a human." That earns a few chuckles from Bunga but Daltons dead serious, he continues " I know it sounds crazy but I was part of an experiment that I now think went wrong, and-and I'm *sighs* I'm scared I love it here but it's not my home." Everyone looks shocked including me I say "That was unexpected." Fuli says "To say the least why didn't you tell us sooner." Bunga yells in an inquisitive tone Yeah why you." Dalton sighs and says " I was worried about how people would take it if they would just accept I'm a human or not trust me or worse."
It gets awkwardly silent for a few moments until Beshte says "Hey human, cheetah whatever your still our friend." Dalton smiles and opens his mouth to speak but a flash of lightning and a deafening Crack of thunder cut him off and a sudden uneasiness passes through me. Everyone else jumps and Dalton says "Something's wrong I can feel it." We all know it but don't know what happened. Dalton's looking around like he's zoned out but he's not, he's paying very close attention to everything going on I can tell because his ears are twitching. Soon his eyes go wide and he says "Oh no it's happening." I ask "Wha-what's happening." He says "Another human I don't know who yet."
Everyone is confused about how he knows including Dalton and me.
We decide to wait out the storm and rest. After an hour or two the rain clears out and everyone wakes up to a nice sunset. But the tranquility doesn't last as we hear a roar of pain and run to investigate. Ono flies up to find where the roar came from, and a minute later comes back and says "A lion is being attacked by a small group of hyenas on flat Rock Ridge.
Dalton (b) gulps but I'm the only one who notices and I don't have to ask why. I ask why are you so worried DB
He says "My world is full of bad people and even the people you trust will stab you in the back for power so I don't know why I shouldn't be worried."
Hey, guys Jedi here and this took so long it's pretty good I think and I'm planning on writing more and I scrapped a book to restart I'll hopefully be able to have some more creative freedom but anyways have a good day/night May the force be with you Jedi out!
