Dalton pov
We think Shadow will attack tomorrow, but we don't know. We have a battle plan, but we don't know when or how they'll attack, so it's basically fighting and don't die. We don't know their numbers attack plan anything. So it's all up to chance, so everyone's on high alert, ready for the attack.
As I and the others discuss the battle, a prison guard walks in and says, "Ryan is ready to talk." I nod and say,"I got it, yall continue." They nod, and I walk over to the prison ward where Ryan is, and I say,"I hear you're ready to talk." He says "Yeah anything to get me out of this godforsaken place." I say "Well what do you have." He says,"I don't know exact numbers, but about 30-35 lions, 20 cheetahs, and 2 tigers." I say."Any plan?" He says "No we didn't know the outline of the territory." I ask .How well are they trained." He says,"Pretty well, not perfect they didn't have many animals to teach it but everybody is trained to kill and some of the higher ranking officers are very well trained." I nod and say "Ryan you get one chance to be out of here. Don't mess it up because when you do, we'll be there, and you'll be right back in here, understood." He says "Yes sir." I nod and release him before starting to return to the rest of the group. Once I arrive, Hannah hands me a knecklace with two leaves on it. She says, "I know you miss your shark tooth knecklace, so I made you this to make up." I smile and hug her, saying,"Thank you, Han. I needed a new knecklace." Before putting it around my neck. She says "Your welcome it might fall apart. I haven't done it in a while." I say,"It's okay. You always were good at this stuff." She smiles and says "Yeah it was hard like this, though." She looks at her paws, and I mess with the fur on her head before someone yells,"Were being attacked I run to get my group together on my way I quickly tell Rani and Kion the numbers as the get their ground together. We plan on using guerilla warfare since we know the land and can get the jump on them easily." I get my group of 4 lions and Amari. One lion named Jawari says, "Where we going." I say."I don't know, yet we're figuring it out as we go."We run towards the main entrance and see a group of 25 animals who are slowly working their way towards the tree. I say, "Stay low. We need to surprise them." Everyone get low, and we make our way close and I mouth."Take one in the back quietly." Me and Amari move to the other side of the formation and quickly pick off one lion each." We get 5 total, and somehow no one notices until one turns around and says,"Were'd everyone go?" That's when we make ourselves visible, and I say,"Surrender now or die." We're still outnumbered 3 to 1, so there's a few chuckles before their commander in a heavy country accent says,"You and what army." I say."This army." Kion, Rani, and a few others arrive behind us. The commander says, "We still outnumber you nearly 3 to 1." I say."Yet we still will win, so surrender or die." He looks scared and young, but he says,"I am not scared of you." I say "Well we gave you a chance." His men all get ready to fight, and I know this is gonna hurt, but I jump in first, followed by everyone else. We scuffle for a few minutes until they back off, and the commander says, "We'll be back." I say,'And we'll be waiting for you." They retreat, and we return to what we were doing previously.
I walk back to Rani and give her the information Ryan gave me and go on a walk. I walk and think for a while, wondering what will happen after this and if I'll ever be human again.
I wind up walking to a watering hole. I see Amari at. I walk over and put my head on her shoulder she chuckles at me and says, "Hey." I say,"Hey." She moves her shoulder and sends me face first into the dirt. She laughs, and I stand up and smile. She laughs again, I don't know why. She says,"You're covered in mud." I look into the water, and sure enough, my face is all muddy. I wash it off before pulling Amari into the water, she yells, "Dalton no." She giggles and runs out of the water. I get out also and shake off my fur. I've both laughed for a second until I hear another yell for help.
Hey guys, jedi here, and we're nearing the end of this one, but it will likely have a sequel if all goes to plan. This will but made later on, though, because I have 1 or 2 other stories I want to write before it.
